He smiles and raises an eyebrow. His coding changes, instead analyzing both the source of the message, the syntax it is in, and how it was sent in order to take the information he needs. It takes the process needed to convert the data for his OS, then reverses it in order to take a bit more information. No response is given.

The source of the message can only be found to be 'MAIN PROGRAM'. The other two parameters seem to be a bit tricky for some reason or another.

Actually, you know what, forget about it. Have a firewall while I find you.
A quite literal firewall springs up in front of the group, blocking further movement. Camille cringes.

"Well that's just grrreat. I'm not trrrying to hack thrrrough Tisiphone, so this could take a while. Anyone got some carrrds?"

Allie comes back in, holding two cans. She opens one and hands it to Ariana.

"Well then."
Ariana takes the can and takes a small sip. "Not bad, a bit too sweet for my tastes, though."

((Uh... That's not what he was doing. He was examining the literal coding of it. No way for it to be detected, as it wasn't on the network.))
Adrian suddenly laughs.
God I'm stupid. We're programs on here, or at least logged on, anyway.
He opens up a console on his wristpad, before typing away. He heads into the .config files to set himself as an admin/superuser, if said OS is Unix based. In the face of any encryption or password protection, he just runs a password cracker or data analysis program.

Then, he tries to shut off the firewall.

"What about hunger? I'm decent at cooking."


"Corumaret... let's see if this tells me anything."
She pulls a small book from her pocket. Its title is in Old Kestvoshorik.

((It was based on the earlier probe. Hmmm. I do need to better think out the mechanics here, though. ))


Adrian runs into the simple problem that there does not appear to be an admin setting. AT least, not an obvious one.

Luckily, the firewall shuts itself off, revealing a strange gray-skinned woman with large blue wings, glowing green eyes, strange blocky asymettric grey horns, a black-and-pink clothing scheme, and an overabundance of pixelated themes. She stares.

"WATCHMAKER. I thought you blew yourself up. AND WHICH ONE OF YOU HAS BEEN TRYING TO HACK ME?"

"I did nothing of the sorrrt! What the hell's going on herrre, Tis?"

Camille blinks quite a bit.

(( Tisiphone looks a lot like this. This picture may be the entire reason this adventure exists! ))

He frowns at the bad design.
How does someone maintain the OS? Oh well.
He shrugs and goes back to opening up the console, delving deeper into the programming until he can access the RAM, or it's equivalent directly. He loads a program onto there from his wristpad, a program which searches for user rights and displays the information to him.

James just stands there, not really feeling the need to say anything.
Ariana smiles. "I appreciate it, but don't bother. I'm fine for the moment. This is actually quite a bit better than usual, to be honest."

...This OS is apparently not designed to have users. What.

Meanwhile, the grey person's weird-shaped eyes twitch.

"What happened to you, watchmaker?"

"Wound up in another world. Don't question it, it happened. And I tried to contact home again. Not sure how this happened either. And what is this you thought I blew up?"

"...Fine. Now then. Your little place blew up. Not a big blast, but every communications link went down when it did and they're still trying to get them back online. Even the hallway next to my mainframe is pandemonium."

"...What. How does that even."

"Kormrit. That's its name. And it does mean garnet."


"Okay. By the way, if it rains, there's only a small chance it's water. I've been showered on by blood twice now."

"You know..." Alabaster walked around, totally ignoring the complaints of his to-be servants. "This place is actually alright. Lots of empty space, shiny things and people to do my bidding. In time, it would make a great second Hrulrhtuington."

What. The. Hell.
He sweeps through once more, checking for any method on which the computer interfaces with its users. If it doesn't work, he just has the program analyze the entire drive and give him the information he needs.

"A person willing to put up with your pompous ass does not equal a servant, just so we're clear on that."
"I got caught in it earlier, not long after I arrived here. Are there other odd types of rain?"
She removes a notebook from her pack and flips through it, until reaching a certain page.

Adrian gets a little text file titled "Tisiphone AI Notes."
Everything else is locked off to hell and back, sent to another planet, buried in concrete, encased in meters of steel, and dropped into the ocean depths. Suffice to say, stupid amount of security is stupid.

Meanwhile, the grey-skin sighs.

"Well, now. What about the rest of your freaks?"

"You should try talking to them." Camille winks, and the other one sighs and nods. She looks at Alabaster...and giggles.

"Oi, you there! You want to live here, you'll have to pay me rent. 1 million credits a week."
