Bartholomew leaves the ship for a while and returns with containers he found lying around, filled with snow. He takes a piece of cloth and leaves the snow to melt and wet the cloth, sitting on the bunk and starting to make stock of his backpack. At the very least, he hasn't been using its contents since Maria arrived.

"Hmm. Wonder if we'll move from here someday." he thinks aloud, taking out a flask of a substance with a strong albeit pleasant fragrance.
