Davi starts singing instead. It's a cheery, happy, refreshing, makes-the-pain-go-away song. Okay, so the last bit has less to do with the song and more with the singer...

"I never said they were cool. In fact, they're a little terrifying. Dammit I need an Eidolon fix..."

"Ohhhh, That's how it is, huh?"

Davi starts singing what is apparently an eldritch song (that may or may not be Hartmann's Youkai Girl backwards). Eldritch because Bryan starts to hallucinate just about everything else when he hears it.

Alith just looks puzzled.

"Err. Are you sure that song won't affect doppelgangers?"

[Vorthon]

Bryan goes wide-eyed, half falling, half sitting down, mewling like an idiot.

"OhmygodIcanseeinfinity."

[Twi]

Davi stops singing. The hallucinations go away.

"There there, now." She grins...well...wolfshly.

Alith just looks puzzled.

"Err. Are you sure that song won't affect doppelgangers?"

"It might, but it's a targeted effect, so...You're fine."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Thank the Preserver.

Also, I believe I have yet to introduce myself to you. Apologies."

[Twi]

"OH! Well, what's your name?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"I am Alith Nadan. Doppelganger ex-thief, at your service."

[Twi]

"Ooh! Can you like, turn into people and all that?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Alith scanned Davina for a moment, then smoke surrounded him.

When it faded, he was an exact replica of her, right down to clothing and voice.

"Yes, indeed."

[Twi]

Davi responds by tweaking Alith-Davi's ears. Tweak, tweak.

Alith responds by fading into smoke and returning to normal form.

"That tickled."

[Twi]

"I had no idea my ears were that cute."

Davi giggles softly.
