Kwykathen grabs the frightened individual by the scruff of the neck, lifting her off the ground so she can look her in the eyes without looking down.

"Calm. Down. Before I get really annoyed."

She still seems...panicked. To say the least. Poor Diaena?

And she bumps into Kwyk too.

"OHGODCATGIRLSARESUPPOSEDTOBECUTEYOU'RENOTCUTEATALL."

Meanwhile, Maria is still facing a large insect with nothing but a (admittedly very large) sword. And some friends.

"Great..."

Sona smiles.
"I think she's leaving."

She rubs her head, her eyes flickering.

"Ugggh, slow down, woman! You're hurting my head."

Tyrion sits and waits to see if Diaena is going to help.

[Cassandra]

She looks to Tyrion, and starts drifting outside.

"Right! Attacker now, strange woman later."

Maria abandons ship and flees back to the hive as well, getting together with everyone else.

The newcomer, unfortunately, can't quite seem to calm down and screams incoherently until Kwyk grabs her.

At that point, she collapses to the floor and quiets down.

"Um... I'm...Well...That thing was chasing me..."

James fires, doing some distinct damage to a tree fairly far off from the insect.

Silver shrugs and makes a grey ball that bounces against the insects face repeatedly.

"What thing, exactly?"

Richard took out his Evoker.

Alith listened in, while mentally choosing what arrow was best for the purposes of the imminent danger.

She looks to Tyrion, and starts drifting outside.

"Right! Attacker now, strange woman later."

"Can you fly or anything?"

Sadly, the insect cares little about Jame's puny rifle unless it happens to be armor-piercing.

Silver's ball seems to completely and utterly distract it, though. It seems to be trying to play catch with it or something.

Luca unfolds the rifle, and fires a few shots at the bug to no effect.
"Nothing. Wait. Shit. You walked in the poison joke, didn't you. Well... That's bad."

"Silver, I'm blaming that on you!"
James takes out his saber and dashes towards the insect, mumbling under his breath.

((I think only Richard and Alith retained their abilities, by dint of having not been in contact with the joke.))
"Insect thing?"

"Suck yourself into my head. Like Barth. I can get places much faster than you can."
