Sona starts walking through the forest again, before coming up to a pale tree.
"Maria, come here."

Sona climbs the tree and picks some berries from the branches. They're a deep blue.
"Now, you see, these berries are much sweeter. They're more much palatable, but eventually you'll get sick of them. In addition, they're not quite as nutritious as the earlier ones. However, if you cook the two together into a dish, you'll get a dish which is both delicious and nutritious."
She drops them to Maria.

"It's good to see you understand this so easily. But, berries alone won't make a dish. One doesn't just eat jam alone. So, we'll have to find some wild grains, then harvest those."
Sona starts walking again, but this time with her eyes closed and her staff held out. The crystal atop it glows.

Nayaru grumbles, and starts walking into the forest. She seem to be getting bigger as she does that.

"Yup. One of the major advantages of being a druid."
Eventually, they come across some tall, yellow grass-like plants. The major difference is that they're much wider than typical grass, maybe the width of electrical cable. Sona opens a small pod atop the plants, pulling out a handful of seeds.
"Now these are both the seeds for the plants, and what we need to harvest from them."
