Silver grumbles and continues being on Richard.

Sona pushes Silver off and down the stairs, sighing as she closes the hatch.
"Well then."
She breathes in heavily.
"Trust me, he has your best interests in heart. He just doesn't like to show he likes people. It's weak or something stupid like that."
She shrugs.
"You understand what I mean, right?"

"Best interests? Guy literally was short of saying 'Go die in a hole'.

I understand, but Sona, you're probably the only person he likes around here."

Silver grabs some string and a rock and begins tying the leaves to the rock.

She shakes her head.
"No, no. He doesn't hate any of you, he just wants to make you guys stronger, and see what he thinks your different flaws are. He has an odd way of doing it though, yeah."

"Doubt it. Thanks for trying, Sona, but I don't think I can actually forgive him for the moment."

Richard smiled sadly and stood up.

"Again, thanks for trying."

Nayaru walks past, grumbling and rubbing her head.

"Doubt it. Thanks for trying, Sona, but I don't think I can actually forgive him for the moment."

Richard smiled sadly and stood up.

"Again, thanks for trying."

Sona suddenly snaps. She points her finger at Richard forcefully and stomps her foot down.
"Y-You're just as bad as him! Gah! Both of you! Just stubborn little punks! And I'm sick of it!"
Throwing the hatch open, she stomps her path down the stairs, then sits down and crosses her arms with a punctual *hmmph*.

Tyrion scoots up closer to her.
"I told yo-"
"Don't. Say. A. Thing."

Silver scatters some leaves on the stairs.

Richard sighed.

"Well, that was stupid."

He sat down in silence, looking down.

A voice muttered in his head.
"You damned idiot. You could have forgiven him.

Why? He practically called me a spoiled brat who deserved nothing!

Yes, but-gah. Dammit."

He muttered.
"Great. Now I pissed off Sona AND Tyrion. Potentially Nayaru.

This sucks."

Alith walked back in to see Sona and Tyrion glaring at each other, Silver scattering leaves everywhere and Richard gone.
"Did I miss something?"

"Oh, what?" Bartholomew wakes up and scratches the back of his head, his gaze shifting to the snakegirl clinging to him. A smile once more takes his face and he plants a soft kiss on her forehead.

"It is just a matter of time until they learn." he says more to himself than anyone else, checking on Ke.

"Who are you?"

Alith directed the question at Barth.

"Did I miss something?"

"Mainly just foolishness. On the part of everyone."

Maria pokes her head in from outside.

"Did I hear arguing or something?"

"Well, I heard some shouting from upstairs, and when I came in I saw Sona and Tyrion glaring at each other. Richard, I presume, is upstairs."

"Who are you?"

Alith directed the question at Barth.

"Bartholomew Alteon, plague doctor, pleased to meet you." he answers as usual with his confident but friendly voice.
