"Does changing that way harm or bother you in any way, Ke?" Bartholomew asks. After all it was quite the drastic change: from small, frail and passive to a larger, armored and combat-ready creature.

At the very least, it meant the snakegirl would be able to handle herself in combat...The medic knew he was easily one of the worst fighters of the group, and knowing Ke would protect herself if needed was a relief.
