Arnkeni opens the door and steps out. Another demonblood steps out from the passenger seat, one that hasn't been seen before. His face is obscured by safety glasses and the collar of his coat. He rests a flamberge on his shoulder and holds a bag which seems to hold tools fit for engineering.


"Thank you."
Nicole cools down the soup.

...i dunno. x3 Anyways, temporary character because I foolishly sent everyone* into Richardland and now feel bad for the rest of you. =P

Ariana is rewarded with a minor collapse, revealing a lovely-looking woman with a bat's wings and a devil's tail. ...She is also made entirely of polished bronze. She wears a green metal dress ((copper, to be exact, like the Statue of Liberty) and carries an all-steel pickaxe in one hand. A bronze flute hangs from her waist. A dull look of surprise covers her face.
Slowly, she turns to face Ariana, raising her arm to shade herself from the light of the surface.
"<What in the Abyss? Who are you? Where am I?>"

Her voice is unusual... it almost rings like a church bell. And, of course, she's speaking in some strange language.


((Slayer, how big is the flamberge? Technically, that term only refers to the shape of the blade, though it is indeed an awesome shape.))

Seeing the charred ground and blood involved with Allie's little psychotic, unjustified attacks on people, the unidentified demonblood presses a button on the guard of his sword which extends the blade from five-and-a-half feet to six.

"Tidvr vaeliig Daen wolbaruk Vaus rot lesektvr, troen "Biithshon vae Egeth"?"
"Tsaat. Vyuwar?"
"Ebv vyinalkarvr zeu khuliion."

Ariana coughs for a few seconds from the dust. "Er, hello. Can you speak English?"

[Twi]

"Ah, yes, that language. We Abyssals don't use it much.

Greetings. I am..."

She smiles a little and breathes in.

"Ahem....

I aaaam.....

The Fortified Orichalcum Sonata of Ages~

...but I prefer Orichalcum. It's so much simpler. "

Arnkeni opens the rear-left door of the car and pulls out a seven-foot long sword, wrapped up with paper.

Ariana chuckles. "It is quite a nice name. Oh, and I'm Ariana of Astora."

Orichalcum chuckles, looking around slowly, contemplating.

After a bit she says,


"Well met, Ariana.

...so, where are we? I thought I was much further underground than...well, close enough for you to collapse my tunnel with a stick. Puzzling, that. "

"They call it 'The Lost and Found'. So evidently, you've gotten lost."
She punctuates the sentence with a dark smile.

[Twi]

Again, Orichalcum briefly contemplates that, before smiling back.

"I've been lost in the underworld for centuries. Perhaps far longer, with no sun and moon from which to tell the passage of time. Nothing new. "

"Hm. My sympathies."

[Twi]

" It was not that bad. The Underworld is an interesting place. "

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Really? How was it?"

[Twi]

 " Well, it is where I have lived all my life, so...

Still. There's no frontier quite like the dark caverns. Those who live there are invariably interesting people. OF course, there are the more civilized portions of the underworld, too... Heh."

Orichalcum finally climbs out of the pit.
