Sapphira heads inside along with Nathan. Seems she's going back to her normal grumpy self.

Nicole rubs her eye.
"If she has, it'll take a few days for her to get better."

"Something special about demonbloods, I assume?"
"That was a bit terrifying."

Sapphira nods at Nathan, then...

... goes and finds Ariana- and by extension, Nicole.

"Hello, cat. You look sick too. Unfortunate. Anyways, I was looking for you, Ariana. There's something I'd like you to check out for me. You seem like a decent mage, after all. "

She looks down at Nicole somewhat sympathetically.

"No. The rage is just a symptom that sometimes manifests. Seeing as it hasn't to me yet, I think I'm in a good state on that matter. More soup please?"

"Sorry, just a moment, Nicole. What is it, Sapphira?"
Nathan goes off to get some sleep.

"Some of my stuff picked up some vibrations earlier. Like someone's tunneling about. I'm kinda curious about who it is, but I don't feel like running into bad things in the woods. You, on the other hand, seem well versed in combat. Would you like to check it out for me?

...If someone needs to take care of her, I can do it. Soup, you say? "

The truck that Arnkeni drove to the walker drives in again.

Sapphira goes to get the aforementioned soup!

"It wouldn't be a problem. And to be quite honest, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious."

[Twi]

"Right, then! It's right over that way."

Sapphira returns with (scavenged and/or hastily prepared and/or magiced) soup, which she gives to Nicole. She then indicates 'that way', both through pointing and through actual verbal directions.

Ariana follows Sapphira's directions, making sure to write them down in her notes.

Assuming Ariana does follow right, she eventually hears the sounds of rock being chipped away beneath her. Seems Sapphira was fairly close, if hardly perfect.
