@Derm: "Well, obviously protecting the merchant is of the highest priority. But other than that... eh... kill the attackers? Take their stuff... we are allowed to keep any equipment we get off of any attackers, it's part of the contract."

((Talking isn't going to be taking up turns for a little bit for Derm, because, well, something is actually going to happen soon if it wasn't obvious enough))

"Mmm well, that's nice, I suppose. I've got a hunch somethings going to happen soon. Always does, always will. Narrative causality at work, you see. Upshot, we're probably going to be attacked in some arbitrarily small amount of time."

Unholster harquebus, hold at relaxed standby.

Attack and kill the three bandits.
Quietly if possible.

Falvich will sigh, and then slit the mage from ear to ear.

Added a random poll "Yay!"
Just so you know. It isn't me whining, most of them are repeated hooks for the same plot/quest the only difference is the start.

I guessed 7 to 8. I was PURPOSEFULLY avoiding them. YOU WILL NOT get a linear road out of Falvich!

TURN 33

Juba Freedmen
Take a drink then focus my mind on the hound and work to make it as calm as possible so it won't attack when it wakes up, double check it's binding's and make sure they are secure.
Juba takes a drink and attempts to calm the hound then double checks it's bindings. [4] They seem to be secure enough.

Derm
"Mmm well, that's nice, I suppose. I've got a hunch somethings going to happen soon. Always does, always will. Narrative causality at work, you see. Upshot, we're probably going to be attacked in some arbitrarily small amount of time."

Unholster harquebus, hold at relaxed standby.
Derm unholsters his harquebus and makes sure it is fit for use, before standing by and waiting for the supposed enemy to attack. Suddenly 9 figures on horseback appear over the horizon to his left. They look to be approximately 900 feet away.

Gweg Kenson
Attack and kill the three bandits.
Quietly if possible.

Remember my traits, please!
((You can't really kill them silently seeing as they have already spotted you. Unless you mean silently to anyone who hasn't seen you yet.)) [6+1=7 vs. 1] [1+1+2=4 vs. 1+1=2] Gweg slashes open the first bandit's stomach and he stumbles to the ground beside him. [1+1=2 vs. 5] [5 vs. 1+1+1=3] The next bandit nicks Gweg's shield arm, but he continues his assault and [5 vs. 1] [6 vs. 5+1=6] blocks the second bandit's attack with his shield [4+1=5 vs. 2] [4+1+2=7 vs. 2] before impaling him through the stomach. The last bandit begins to [6-1=5] run [1-1=0] wailing like an idiot.

Falvich
Falvich will sigh, and then slit the mage from ear to ear.
See Mage's Turn.

Groz Talvor
"Well, he has his face. Anyhow, would you care to tell me what happened between you two?"
Cast lie detector spell on both of them to determine who's telling the truth.
The merchant exclaims, "He seized my wares! Just as I told you!" The hooded dwarf stares him down, "He stole it and I'm trying to find out where he got it!" Groz detects nothing from either of them.

Atla
((How many have I missed?))
Listen in on their plans.
((It's a secret :P)) Atla seems to have entered mid conversation and hears one of the men around the table exclaim, "We have failed repeatedly but you," he says pointing toward another, "Keep sending us to die against an unstoppable enemy!" The man defends himself, "Well maybe if our captains' were more competent!" The first speaker storms out of the tent.

Mage
Quote from: mage
Fix this accursed wound on my neck and defended myself!
Falvich sighs and walks toward the mage, he hurriedly waves his hand around [6] and his throat begins to close. Mage frantically stumbles to his feet but is barely able to keep his balance [2-1=1 vs. 5] and flings a spell past Falvich. Falvich lunges forward [3+2+1=6 vs. 5-1=4] [5+1+1=7 vs. 3] and slices the mage's face open diagonally and he collapses to the ground writhing and twitching in his death throes.

Falvich will now loot the mage's shop of everything worthwhile. If there's something that will stabilize/let the mage live until help arrives, apply it to him, otherwise leave him to die.

I...I didn't want Falvich to be a cold-blooded killer. What have I done? I shouldn't have been reading that horror-mystery...Good book though, was based from the killer's view, not the detectives. And no cheesy romance!

"Dragonshit."

Kill the last bandit as quickly as possible, then be quiet and figure out if anyone has awoken.

"Ladies, please. Stop arguing and let the mage think.
... Aha!
Merchantman! I have decided through logic that you aren't telling me something. Where did you get those wares and how did you get them?"

Cast yet another lie-detection spell.
