My First Mod: The Interlopers Invasion!

Hi! :)
This is my first WIP mod, I wanted to make super elves, then I hated the idea, threw elves away and made


SHADOW WALKERS (So original eh?)


The mod will replace elves and give you a race that is so powerful your going to want to protect those trees, and not piss them off. (They use trees as test subjects :X)
They act like the elves in some small ways so they can easily transition through such a hard time..

Anyway. Here's what I have left todo

Make them immune to fire
Make their skin more stronger.
Change their blood type
More magical spells to play with (I'm accepting any ideas as long as its easy.)
Touch up on other minor details (Colors of skin, etc..)

Currently added features@
Their letter for their tile is "?" Not "e".
They can use dragonfire, soon it will be changed to their hands instead of their mouths...
They have some custom dialog.
super powerful strength, etc..
Some creatures are edited...
And much more.


Expect a demo to be released this week!
I know their is not much anticipation for, eek eek, super men. But this is something I want, I don't care what others want ..

Sounds intriguing. Could you come up with some way to make them different than every other mod that adds a new, deadly race to invade? Come up with an idea, we'll see if we can make it.

Definitely, the shadow race will be one of many new creatures. The mod is based around the shadow creatures too. My whole idea for the mod is to add first new creatures, then make my way towards dwarf fortress mode. Thx ^_^

EDIT: I didn't answer the "Whole Idea", The whole idea is to change the way the game is played, by adding (Cliche) magic and making a goal, compared to making it a survival.

All of your syndromes require body parts and none have them. Check out the material emission interactions. Replace FLOW with LOCAL_CREATURE_MAT:POISON.

He he he.  Yeah, it almost looks done...  alas...  those who are in your teens, hold on until your twenties...  those in your twenties, your thirties...  others, cling to life as you are able...
It should be pretty fun though.

It shouldn't be SHADOW_WALKER_POISON, just POISON.

I wrote this at school

Creatures:
Shadow Walkers - Powerful magic users, evil.
Light Walkers - Powerful magic users, good.
Corrupted Wizard (Name change needed :/) - A Wizard corrupted by power, can use dragon breath, revive & Oblivionize.
Angel - Smallish humanoid that fights alongside mortals to protect the world, starts with light ray in Adventure mode.
Puff - Attracts humans then poisons them with its poisonous fumes.
(Reserved x infinite)

Magic!
Legend

RL (OR) AL, N, Dragonbreath - Powerful fire magic, easy to learn.
AL, E, Oblivion air - Stale air from oblivion, rots, Shadow walkers only.
RL, E, oblivionize - Disables an enemy instantly, takes 200 ticks & can target 3 people. Shadow Masters ONLY!
RL, E, Revive - renamed necromancer power, takes 15 ticks to recharge.
RL,N, Freeze - name says it all! Throws extremely cold ice at things.
Rl,N, Peashooter - Shoots up to 50 chalk pieces at an enemy.
RL,N, Quick snack - Makes a meat piece appear. (Most likely going to be a knapping.)
AL,E, Screech - Destroys ears, eyes with a high toned screech.
NA,E, Dark fog - Given to a puff, has an inhaled syndrome that makes one paralized.
AL,G, Light ray - focuses solar power into a "Sunball" that melts creatures.
EL,G, Acheive Holiness - Turns one into a candy person.
RL,N, Fire Protection - Protects someone or self from fire (This is not a confirmed feature!)
AL,E, Laser eyes - Boiling hot laser that corrupt birds use.
RL,N, Fly - Grants flight to yourself. (A syndrome that adds [FLIER] tag?)
ITEMS
Shadow Ore - Smelted into Pure Shadow.
Light Ore - Smelted into Pure Light

I sort of edited the creature off of a tutorial. :s
Btw, its not that the game wont work, it wont show up in arena mode.
