The dwarves finish their construction with frightening speed, grumbling as they drink their booze from flasks. Finally, a single dwarf climbs to the top, and installs a lever.

Ke opens her eyes, and... She see's her mistress. She looks around, and realizes she never... Huh? Why would she think she had left? Nothing happened... She looks down at her black clothes, and then her hands, as her mistress watches her with bemusement.
