TV Tropes: DF Character Page.
« on: October 16, 2012, 09:13:25 am »

So I started working on a Characters page on TV Tropes. It's not up yet, I just wanted to see what you think of it.

Yeah, it's in TvT formatting.

Dwarves don't need it to live. They just slow down.

Or rather it seems that Alcohol is lubricant for Dwarven joints.

They totally need it to live. Otherwise, they commit suicide or something.

No they can last indefinately without alcohol. As well they don't consider alcohol to be condusive to healing either.

You clearly never have seen a dwarf go insane from alcohol-withdrawal.

Dwarves can go insane simply because their eyes hurt.

Also, what is exactly tv tropes?  Ive tried to comprehend it on my own, and a friend even tried to explain it, but what is tv tropes?  is it a stereotype that 'nerds' have about things?  Thats my understanding at this point...

TVtropes is a collection of elements that make up movies, games, books, plots, ect which they list examples of.

That is pretty much it.

Dwarves that go entirely without alcohol die of 'blood'loss, you know. Losing 85% of what runs through one's veins is fatal. Neonivek has obviously not had a deprived dwarf reach the state where the booze in the blood was completely used up.

Cassandra likes elves for their taste, Cobalt for it's pretty colors, and kittens for their cute intentions. She is incredibly strong, but horribly unlucky, and speaks with a rasping accent. She is white with black eyes. She likes dwarves for their hilarious intentions.

"The fuck do you mean by 'plot'"

I think people who make jokes on TVtropes when they arn't true should probably stop writing for TVtropes.

I don't know who that is. I've only seen Towersoared, Cacame, Asax and Boatmurdered, so I don't know every famous character.

Besides, TV Tropes is a wiki. It could be added in later.

Needs more sex tropes.

* ORingOrifices: Played with. Apertures in the game have no easily defined shape.
** FetishFuel: Just the way This Troper likes it *drools*
* FetishFuel: Creatures in the game reproduce by spores.
* HighOctaneFetishFuel: Hapened for This Troper when he got a Forgotetn Beast taking the form of giant blob of vomit
* HoYay: Happened between Sankis and magma, IMO
* EroticEating: The dining room mechanic allows this.

Needs more rape tropes.
I thought that you weren't allowed anything with the word "rape" in it, for some reason I forgot?
