A 2-level shotgun can remove the liquid from the barrel and shoot it, preferably at a gnome. The chance of all this happening is nil unless you are using it on gnome prisoners.

Again, WE MUST CREATE CHEMICAL WARFARE MOD.

Actually, I'll do that. If anyone has any ideas PM me.

Is there a way to make a workshop that coat weapons in poison?

not directly. i know there's been experimentation in coating various weapons in assorted materials however (weaponizing it would likely involve using some unfortunate animal as bait, a bridge to block off LOS, and a room where tons of stuff gets dropped in, including your bait animal). mostly it seems to involve forgotten beats and/or titans with extracts and such. also dragons; stabbing a dragon can get you a lightsaber.

That can't be healthy for the wielder.

Also what's that supposed to do with dragons? I stabbed a lot of dragons in the career of my now retired badass spearmaster, his slade spear is still the same as ever.

Probably, he means "modding the blood of X animal to carry syndromes and stuff", therefore stabbing said animal would coat your weapon with the poisonous blood.

Kinda hard to manage, if your dwarves aren't smart enough to never take off their *steel gauntlet*

You just gave me a mental image of a fort full of gnomes running around screaming and waving their hands while they are slowly melting and shouting "oh god, why is this happening?"

..Ok, I just realized that my mind is a scary place

You can...get it on gnomes and gnomes melt. Thats about it. In one of my old forts i'd have them dump barrels on the ground into puddles of gnome blight and throw any gnomes in that the elves brought. What a pointless bitof engineering for 10 minutes of "do ho ho ho you're necrotising"

When Toady get to the active worlds part somebody should mod in gnomes as a fort civ and add dwarfblight.

Just wait until the little bastards are launching barrels of it at your fort from catapults!
