So if I were to edit the plane by adding the orb, since it is my home plane, would that work? If not, I'll just edit out the Thunderous Orb for later.

Totally. But it'd be a feature of the land, like the moon, but not an artifact. It's magic would be lost if you shifted it somewhere.

I could live with that.

I meant the Thunderous Orb to be like a world feature more than an artifact anyway.
