(5) The spell overloads and snaps at the giant! (2-1=1) The giant's right arm was burnt to a crisp! (+4 Magical Ability)

Zahea roars in pain and runs at Asbes, lifting his left arm! (1) The giant falls down before he got even near Asbes, giving him a chance to counter! (3) The kick wasn't very effective! (+1 Martial Arts, Asbes)

Asbes smiled a bit as he saw his spell working, although he was also stricken by a little of worry for the giant. It seemed painful.

"I think we should put him out of his misery...right?" he asks, a bit meekly and still surprised he was actually helpful. Preparing his stance, the young man takes a diagonal position and prepares himself for the next attack.

Initiate a martial arts combo, targetting its throat with elbows and fists to finally kill it.

Zahea roars once again, trying to lift himself from the floor was hard with one arm. Choosing to lie on the floor he reached for his face where a certain someone was stuck! (5-1=4) He grips Arnok (3-1=2) and manages to pull him off, but his eyes began to bleed after the daggers came out! (From now, -2 for Zahea's rolls) (+3 Dagger Skills!)

(Wait, mechanical question. What are those bolded bonuses each turn like +3 to dagger usage? Is that permanent bonuses to dagger rolls or just "experience" toward the next rank of dagger skill? Loving the game BTW.)
