Broken heart Quotes
« on: September 26, 2012, 12:03:20 pm »

"Wanting him is hard to forget, loving him is hard to regret, losing him is hard to accept, but even with all the hurt I've felt, letting go is the most painful yet."

"Why did I break up with him? Well ,it's like, once I sat down and looked at the situation, all the pieces lying on the floor, it just wasn't a puzzle anymore. None of the pieces fit together. And even if I tried really hard, the pieces, well they were two different puzzles. That's why I did it, he needs to understand that."

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Teenagers, on the other hand, are not.

Learned that one the hard way.

"Love is like a mucus. When it gets stuck to you, trying to get rid of it will make things much more difficult."

"Breaking up with your girlfriend who you love is like stopping playing DF for good. You'll still think about downloading and playing the crap out of it."

I feel like an emo already!

"I don't need friends with benefits when I have hands with benefits."

"No matter how much time you spend together, no matter how close to them you feel, you can never be sure that they ever loved you."

"It's not you. It's me. And my inability to tolerate your annoying personality any longer."

"You're a horrible person and you make me a worse person just to be around you". Actually got dumped with that line once...good times, good times :)

"I'm... Really sorry but I like someone else."

:-\ Fairly tame, actually. Considering how creepy my pathetic attempts at romance must've been. Dear gods. *shudder* Poor girl.

"Sorry but... I just don't feel it anymore... Y'know?"

That's a real one used by me, while talking on the cellphone. Worst break-up ever.

"I'm sorry you had to tolerate me for so long. You are free."

Probably one I'd use. :P

I wrote a bunch of angsty poems in high school that I unfortunately cannot find (I had a bunch of other good stuff too, like some short stories).

None of them were about love, as far as I remember. Most were existential.

In high school, I wrote a total of five poems if I remember right. Two of them were sarcastic poems about life, one of them was for proving to my whole class that I know enough English to write a poem about it. English is not my first language and I started learning it when I was like 10 years old. The other two were dedicated to a girl I used to love. At least none of them were angsty.

I didn't have much of an "nobody understands meeeeee!!!" kind of an adolescence. I used to think I'm smarter than most people and my friends in high school seemed childish to me. It seems like a superiority complex when I think about it now. Man, I miss high school. University life sucks.

Yuppers! Back then was a huge transitionary period for me, so I was still asking questions about what actually matters and whatnot.

I remember my poems to be rather good, but of course, that's just my memory and biased perspective. I'm pretty sure my old creative writing teacher has (or had) my notebook where they were all written down.
