The feminine archangel appeared near Richard, staring at the Light with the wrath of gods concentrated in his glare.

Misdirection sat a few feet away, making herself mentally invisible to the common senses to the rest of the heroes-not true invisibility, but she was almost impossible to perceive if you weren't looking for her directly.

She waved her hands dramatically, a bit of showmanship. In the next moment, the Light would feel a temporary-but acute-case of whirling vertigo. Good for a take down, if he tried anything.

Then, whispered a message to Sigurds left ear. It was hardly louder than a flies buzz, it was only for him.

~I'll try and stagger him in a moment. Be prepared to strike while he's off guard.~

Sigurd breathing grew heavy as the dart glowed yet again, and the Shadows and Sigmunds forms blurred, then split into a series of other doubles. He lifted his hand, and a ball of ice formed just above his palm, hovering a few inches above his hand. He smiled at The Light.
"Surrender, and be silent once more. Or face the wrath of the Norse."

"What he said."

Who, the Light? Nope, just the cape and jumpsuit.

Turning to put the henchman between himself and his old nemesis The Shadow stated "Greatest Nemesis? I think not. The burly Russian was more trouble than you you mumbling abomination. Now I suggest you surrender now. Clearly you are outmatched."

"Bah, I just remembered why I didn't mind not being able to talk."

This disturbs the Light some, but he shakes it off and gestures in a sort of kamehame hadoken thing, and a burst of fire erupts from his gloved hands. The Shadow dodges, but the henchman gets roasted.
"Whoops, gotta watch out."

Grab his cape between two fingers and lift him up in the air, presenting him as a target for the others.
"As Edna said, no capes!"

"Gabriel, you know what to do."

The archangel nodded, and pointed at the Light.

"You are outnumbered and outmatched. Prepare to recieve divine punishment."

Gabriel raised his sword to the sky, and a blast of intense heat blazed at the Light.

Grab his cape between two fingers and lift him up in the air, presenting him as a target for the others.
"As Edna said, no capes!"

"Gabriel, you know what to do."

The archangel nodded, and pointed at the Light.

"--yowch, that hurt. I'm kinda glad I upgraded the ol' jumpsuit..."

Keep holding him there. Maybe whack him on the ground a bit.

Gabriel continued his intense glare at the Light.
"Master, need I punish him more?"

Richard shook his head.
"Nah. I think the Shadow and Sigurd want to settle things with him first."

Gabriel nodded and stayed by Richard's side, silently watching the Light struggle.

Sigmunds jaw dropped at Misdirections touch.
"Freyja? You bless me with this? Of course, my lady."
He turned his head to the heavens, and bursted out a prayer to the World Tree, before focusing upon his Frost Giant Anscestry and stretching his palm towards The Light.
"May the Jotunn have mercy upon you."
A great burst of mist burst from Sigmunds hand, forming a gauntlet of frozen mist.

"Now hold up, guys. Is he really that harmless apart from the fire thing? Maybe we go easy on him?"

Sigmund just gave him a glance.
"No. We defeat him."

Richard spoke up, while Gabriel simply stared at Sigmund, impassive.

"We're superheroes. We're supposed to defeat and knock this guy out, not kill him."

"What'll we do with him after we're done, though?"
Spin the Light around to dizzy him.
