After breaching the circus many times before causing my fortresses to fall, I decided to make a stand against the circus itself, with only two losses before sealing off the stairway. I built a long hall filled with Ballistas with ballista arrow stockpiles behind all of them, and have been training an 100-dwarf military for about 5 ingame years now. In the mean time, the clowns incinerated any creatures they found in the caverns and claimed them for themselves. The Forgotten Giant Lobster Dezun appeared, but was killed in two seconds by a slush clown. Wow. Once my defenses were set up and my dwarves trained, I cleared the floor and watched as the clowns flooded in, being nailed down by my ballistas and marksdwarves. The clownite (similar to goblinite, more deadly) didn't cause too much trouble. We didn't lose anyone, either. It's been quiet for about three ingame months now, what should I do? I'm thinking of sending my giant military to clear the caverns.

Step 1: Clear the caverns, and set up an adventure mode stronghold. Piss off the elves and humans, and siege yourself to death.
Step 2: adventure there.
Step 3:
Step 4: Profit!

Connect Hell, all caverns, and the surface with a stairway, then make a giant arena with an artifact door/hatch cover, and a chained animal as bait. Underworld, Undead, Invader and Uninvited Guest are all hostile to one another AND your dwarves... make some big free for all tournaments.
