Kaylee looked at Avens through the transmission and nodded. At least they would be useful in- an escort mission, protecting from...flying debris and space pirates.

"Affirmative, Mark. Apologies for not helping with the borders...that much."

"The bombing of the military bases upon planet four-emm-nine-two, to prepare it's liberation from the Garocony empire."

Markactl strode through the hallways, directing cleanup and repairs.

"Surviving Great Atlaca. Incapacitating, removing from ship. Finding heavy prisonship, in greatest security storing Atlaca, studying. To be autopiloted prisonship, none to be entering, once stored Atlaca."

Very, very carefully move the surviving Dragon onto an empty ship. Make sure it is heavily reinforced, and rigged to blow in case of an emergency.

Into the dilapidated remains of the docking bay he strides. He shouts at the two mechs:

He then jumps into a transport and heads over to the Flagship.

[1] When your people move to haul the beast out, all they find is a massive cocoon. It's an orb of scales, set over thick black shell, spikes occasionally protruding from the cancerous looking greenish-grey mass. Tentacles writhe occasionally, but are too stumpy and small to do anything. Corrosive, straw-berry smelling liquid coats it where it sits on a rack of shelves, the cans and food melting slowly.
It's a simple maneuver to drag it out and put it on a remote-controlled prison ship, after emptying the prisoners from it.

It is a short flight from the Hiveship to the Flagship; what looks like a heavily-modified Federation warship. A really old warship. Like, you're fairly certain that that model hasn't been used officially in the last fifty years. Markactl's transport docks in one of the lower hangars, and a message indicates for you to follow.

[5] When you link up to Hayes, you see him chatting with someone on another channel, smiling, he glances over, and the screen shifts to a scrambled image.

"I'll have to talk later. Same spot, though?"

The screen moves, as if nodding. It fades to black and he turns his attentions to you.

"Pleasure to see you again. I would love to thank you for helping me out, like you did. Calling the ambulances and helping the Fed-sec. And I was wondering if you wanted a position as a minister on my cabinet? Espionage and Internal Security, mayhaps?"

When they spot you, the broad shouldered cowboy-hatted man lifts his hand in a wave.
"Hows it goin'?"

"Quite well, thanks for meeting me on such short notice, I'd just like to get this trade route set and going as soon as possible to get the economy on our planet running full steam. So to get straight to the point how soon can we get this trade deal confirmed and running?"

"I will take up the position and run the assigned areas with optimal efficiency. Anything else you wanted to discuss Hayes?"

Emmanuel clenched his teeth. He didn't want to be one of the organization weak, frail leaders, who hid behind their soldiers. He didn't want to be the one to control masses of grunts to do the work he should be doing in the field. The young man most certainly did not want to cower and hide, manipulating minds in order to prevail. He would help people, and he would help them now.
