Wasn't Necro involved in the pony thread thing? I thought that was what caused his ban, not the whole annoying magma thing.

I think it was the magma stuff. Very very few people, even those that arguably should have been, were banned for the pony stuff.

If I'm recalling correctly no one was banned for the pony fiasco.

Not that I want to kick a wasps nest or anything, but why do people miss Necro? I mean, all I ever saw him do was write the word "Magma" in big red letters as often as possible, despite warnings to stop.
Aww, there's more to him than that. He's a regular on the off site pony forum and he's a cool dude and isn't afraid of anything.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Fair enough. I only have what I saw here to go on TBH.

There are a great many misconceptions about that fiasco. He was involved in the threads; he didn't (to my recollection) have much or anything to do with the third lock. The line from the moderation log when he was banned was something like "Ignoring repeated warnings/lack of self control." :|

On another note, all I really remember of Comrade was that he spammed a lot of nonsensical stuff and started arguments in forum games. Can't really say I'm surprised that he's gone.

What happened to GlyphGryph, exactly? He just kind of vanished as far as I can tell.

I was serious, it was getting to easy just to go to Bay12. I have things I want to do and accomplish, and terrible willpower. As long as Bay12 was always there for me... well, my incentive to do any of those other things was less. Significantly so.
I had to cut the strings.

It's not just Bay12 either.
Everything but my email.
And the Cataclysm forum, at least until I finish my last obligation there.
A near-complete virtual suicide.
An opportunity to start over new.
You see, one of the most fundamental traits of me, as a person, is this.
I abhor being comfortable.
And I found Bay12 very, very comfortable.

I'd comment on a distinct lack of Ein, but that might be because of her avatars.
