I had a dream where there was some sort of magical cataclysm that caused lot of people to turn into fantasy races who were then isolated into ghettoes that were under police lockdown. I was an elf (of all things) and I clearly remember the part where group of us newcomers were walking from busses into rundown appartment building surrounded by barb wire, there were dwarves living on the ground floor in the storage rooms and public shelter, just staring behind half closed steel door without saying anything, first floor was overcrowded with halflings who were chattering and generally acting more kender than hafling, I skipped the third floor thinking that there would be more space higher and tried few doors in fouth. I got in to appartment that was already shared by six other elfs since I agreed to sleep in the closet (two were sleeping on the couches and three on the floor in living room, last one slept in kitchen, there were no actual beds just mattresses), I was fine with that since it gave me privacy to use magic on a mirror to try contacting my family that were on some other ghetto...

Someone needs to make forum game of this.
Sure sounds like something from a novel or such.
Write the things you remember, maybe you can present the idea to someone who might make.. something of it some day.

I was in a big area that constantly changed back and forth between being an elementary school and being a forest.

Most of the time I'd run to a new place it'd change. The hallways corresponded to paths through the trees and the rooms were clearings. Nobody acted like this was out of the ordinary.

For a most of the dream, I was a kid (maybe 8 or 9) running around in this place with other kids. There was a ghost haunting the place that was the disembodied voice of a girl our age. The main thing she did was convince kids to reach into dark corners and crannies where something would bite their hand. I think I spent most of the dream running around and trying to get other kids to not listen to the ghost.

There was another scene where I was in the school near the office. I was talking to a random girl who was apparently my best friend. She was worried because she ran out of her medine.

We started talking about the weird ghost stuff and that conversation went great until her head snapped around and she saw a bottle with one of her pills in it. She dashed over and frantically opened it and took the pill.

She almost instantly zoned out and wouldn't listen to me and slowly walked into the guidance counselor's office. Then kids started filling the hallway and I saw one that was a gray alien with a big head (pretty much a kid version of Roger from American Dad). I looked back into the guidance counselor's office and saw the counselor telling my friend that nothing supernatural or weird was happening and she mumbled in agreement. This terrified me and I ran away as fast as I could.

Then I was an adult chaperoning kids in the woods. I was in a big clearing with the other adults and we were talking about what to do about the ghost. At some point the ghost moaned or shouted out of the woods and I shouted "FUCK YOU!" back as loud as I could but my voice gave out halfway through and everyone else laughed.

There was a massive arena-cross-art gallery-cross-theme park. For some reason, I was sliding through it at ridiculous speeds, pressing against the fortunately smooth and curved walls. It was empty, and constantly getting darker, which confused me until I reached the end, where I encountered MaximumZero in a small operators booth. Shirtless, naturally. He was shutting down the whole thing for some reason somehow related to ecoterrorism. One of the few things I remember about this part is him leaning over to a microphone attached to a desk to make some kind of announcement.

A vast quantity of shenanigans then occurred, but I can't remember them. I was trying to stop MZ, though.

I don't remember the vast majority of my dream, but I'll recall what I can.

I was on an island with a massive mansion in the center of it.
I was wielding a machine gun, and looking at a radar in the corner of my vision.
I could see a large red dot on it in a location that suggested my enemy was inside the mansion, and a smaller dot split off from it and started heading towards me, fast.
I look up to see a spider mine from Unreal Tournament sprinting towards me, and I shot it to pieces before it could reach me.
Then I looked up at the mansion, and there was a man with a rocket launcher. He fired at me, and I started running and jumping to the side, because the missile was homing in on me.
As I ran circles around the mansion, occasionally spraying bullets at the missile, I looked at my radar to see where the guy would show up next.
He was teleporting.
I shot down the rocket, and headed towards the mansion, watching my radar.
I made my way up to the balconey he was on earlier, and saw him below me.
I switched to a shotgun, and ran down the stairs, knowing that only an idiot would fire a rocket launcher at close range.
Then I saw him.
It was Slenderman, holding a rocket launcher.

I shot him in the face, and he tumbled backwards and vanished.
Then round two started.
Slenderman reappeared, and once again a spider mine started running at me, only he was slightly faster this time.
I killed him again, and again, and again. Each round the same opening tactic, and each round he got faster, and stronger, and mightier.
I got to round 19, and then he was simply too strong.
I couldn't hurt him, and when he hit me, I flew off the island into the water, with a dozen homing rockets flying at me still.

I hit the water, and was somewhere else.
I was on a beach, and some other people were there.
We were hiding amonst a rock formation, trying to breach some kind of bunker without raising an alarm.
I drew a pistol and secured a silencer on it, and moved to a flanking position.
I saw two guard dogs, and aimed at them, but they saw one of my teammates, and I started firing wildly at the dogs to take them down before moving towards the entrance.

I'm not sure what happened after that, but I somehow wound up back on the first island, only it wasn't the same as before. The mansion was still the same size, but everything else was much larger, so now the building was the centerpiece, rather than the majority of the map.
I was hiding in some hedges, and a horse drawn wagon pulled up, and a couple of people armed with muskets montioned for me to join them.
We rode along a trail that was nothing but a line in the sand earlier in the dream, and something started chasing us.
It was a figure on a horse, shrouded in darkness. It gave me the same feeling as Slenderman did, but something was off.
We outran him, and started being chased by wolves. So I grabbed a musket and started shooting them, while one of the people in the wagon explained to me that the horseman was evil, and could only be killed by a hero, and that we were headed to find that hero.
We fought off the wolves, the horseman far off in the distance now, and rode into a small village.
The villager were running from what appeared to be a dinosaur, breathing 3 balls of plasma in a spread formation very typical of video games monsters.
Everyone was running from it but one guy. A dwarf, wielding a massive sword.
The wagon slid to a stop, and I told the guys I was with to get the dwarf to safety, and that I would take care of the monster.
So they grabbed him and pulled him into the wagon to drive off, and I pulled my shotgun back out and began fighting the plasma monster, dodging its breath attack and returning fire, until eventually I realized it wasn't going down, and took cover in a building.

Things seem foggy for a minute.

The building I'm in is falling apart, and one other person is here, who I seem to think is from the forums, but I'm not sure who.
He gets to work on barricading the doors with massive piles of magazines (which turn out to be magazines of male pornography for some reason) and we took cover in the attic.
We started hearing screams outside, and I looked out the window.
There were over a dozen of the monsters now, destroying everything in sight, and I saw people running from them.
I looked around, and saw, of all things, the rocket launcher Slenderman had earlier.
I grabbed it and leaped out the window, face to face with an army of attackers, and held down the trigger, unleashing a rapid fire barrage of rockets that turned the mosters to chunks of flying meat, while jumping crazily to avoid the armada of plasma fire headed at me.

I'm not sure what happened after that, but I stood in a delapitated city, with a group of people scavenging for food.

More fogginess that I don't remember, but I was still in the city, and I heard a fell roar, and everyone looked up to see what caused it.
The Headless Horseman, which I recognized from earlier, was standing at the far side of the city, holding the dwarf's sword in his hand.
Everyone was frozen in terror, except for me, and one person behind me, who called to me by the name of Cheese.
I turned around, and saw Yoink from the forums. He then tossed a chainsword to me, and told me to end this.
I caught the chainsword, and turned to face the Headless Horseman, who was already charging at me.
I ran at him full speed, and he raised his sword, and swung at me, but I kickedmy foot forward and slid beneath his attack, and held out my sword, dragging it against the side of his horse, and causing brilliant white light to shine out from the wound.
I then stopped, and turned back around, as he wheeled himself around to charge again, light shing from his right side.
We charged each other again, and I leapt into the air, and brought the chainsword down upon his lack of a head.

Then I woke up.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to be in a rocket launcher duel against Slenderman?

Even with dream powers, that shit's hard.

That entire time I was imagining you as your lawyer cat avatar with a red scarf tied around your head like Rambo. It was a glorious read.

My dream consisted of a high school Halloween dance, followed by a zombie apocalypse. So this dance, me and a bunch of other sad, poor, ugly, awkward fellows like me were dressed up in our costumes to go hit on various girls at the dance because clearly we had no chance of getting a date if recognized. This wasn't taking place in a highschool, though, it was some fancy kids arcade/roller rink. The main dance floor was on the elevated roller rink and we needed to show ID to get in. Which for whatever reason was interpreted as exceedingly likely to result in our cover being blown and going home without joy. So we tried to find girls in the secondary dance floor that was much smaller, and generally wandered about until the event ended.

So then, as we were leaving, I noticed a bunch of kids following an old man into some side passage. This guy was a fairy, and a necromancer. These kids were his apprentices and were planning to unleash a great plague upon the world. Their lair was through a tiny magical doorway that caused one to shrink down to three or four inches in total height so they could set up an enormous base of operations in the ceiling of an average sized building undetected.

I decided to join them in order to spy on them, and was accepted. The plan was to spread this magic substance on books checked out from the local library. Anyone who came into contact with the substance would forget everything about their mortal life, decay into a hideous husk of a human being, and worship the fairy lord as their master from then on. I informed somebody, I don't know who, about this and we developed a counteracting potion that would prevent people from being changed by the first, and cause the husks to turn on the fairy lord. It worked, and glorious battle resulted. The fairy lord was eventually defeated, and I spent the rest of the dream spraying books with this anti-zombie potion to avoid further outbreaks.

Why does your dream sound like it could be the plot of one of those insane aimed-at-but-not-really-for-kids cartoons?

I'd watch that. Maybe? Yeah. I would.

I suppose I just have a stupidly immature mind. vOv

I often have dreams about elementary/middle/high school, even though im enrolled in college now. And honestly, I really don't feel like I was ready to move on sometimes.

I had a dream that I was in some weird steam punk universe and I was fighting a giant mechanized sea dragon. That dream actually hurt.

I approve of my cameo in Mastah's awesome dream.
All I remember of last night's dream was someone giving me a couple of novelty coasters. ??? I expected more... insanity.
I was seriously thinking I'd given myself nightmares, actually.

So, my dream last night was "an episode of Monk", but immediately derailed into me being in the hospital arguing with a doctor about whether to jam an absurdly large number of needles into my back or my hand. After that got over, it derailed further into me, a fat guy, one of the Bots from MST3K, and a scantily-clad woman with a huge mane of blonde hair of about my age (who was apparently my wife) trying to get a box of magic sand from a businessman who was at the top floor of a Tokyo skyscraper. After a lot of pointless wandering, my wife and I were attacked by some demon monkeys or something, at which point she attempted to summon a whale, which abruptly replaced everything in the dream with a BSOD. I guess my wife crashed my brain. Anyway, I woke up a few moments later.

My friggin' dreams, man.

Had some bizarre ass dream lately. My family and I had gone on a trip looking for some town in the mountains, and on the way we stopped at a Chinese restaurant, a really dirt-cheap place, and got stuck there. The owners let us stay until the car could be fixed and we ordered a meal. Not sure if we ever got that meal. I was too busy browsing their menu on a public computer they had in the back of the restaurant, and somehow, without skipping a beat on the website layout or anything, went from looking at the menu to some truly messed up porn. No idea what happened there, but the owners blamed me for it after a lengthy argument.

In another dream I was riding my bicycle through medieval Europe, and had to negotiate passage across a channel via a ferry boat. Trying to get my bike aboard, I and it fell in the water and I wasted an hour getting it out. After starting the trip, people kept falling off the boat and I had to help pull them back aboard. The king of whereverthefuckistan was also there, trying to convince me to give up the bike. The dream was interrupted by wake time.

Haven't been dreaming a whole lot lately, a situation likely caused by vague sleep deprivation. Hopefully I'll be having a story to share eventually.
