You wouldn't build up a sense of entitlement to the destruction of the adolescent brood of the feline kind whilst attempting to cause them to mutate into a species of aquatic kittens that more or less just makes them drown to death? And then butcher faces?

Seriously for the moment, this forum doesn't really need to resort to such measures. The games themselves will scare off most of the more skittish/immature people, it's obscure enough to not get flooded by kids or attract trolls, and we generally chase off the jerks. In the end, we don't need to restrict access to forum features because those who survive the gauntlet are sane enough to not cause trouble

Honestly though, sometimes I wonder if the repeatisation of these tired old memes happens because not enough of the membership stays active for very long so the current community doesn't realise how old they are. I mean, I used to love those memes too, and most of them weren't new when I got here either, so it's not that they're boring in a bad way. They're just so very old and told.

So. There. Now I'll shut up.
