Man, all these cool trap ideas that Acererak didn't do. First the cursed ring that activates when you take it off, now he missed the great opportunity for a trap that triggers on the poor fools who decide to be cautious and go in second.

This may or may not be a warning for such a trap.

You know, I was thinking about making up my own Tomb of Horrors once this game finally winds down so... thanks for the ideas.

There's a nice False Tomb of Horrors in one of the Footprints issues on Dragonsfoot.org. It's been ages since I've actually looked at it, though. It's pretty much the regular Tomb of Horrors with some stuff switched around to throw people off.

I would like to be un-genderbent if that's possible.

Another fun trap is the mold room/water trap room/existential nightmare room/room room/mind-altering door

Inhale the FUCK out of that mist. Might be hallucinogenic.

I'm going to wait behind the door while Tsuchi melts his lungs with acidic mist.

Awesome! Thanks, Gem of Trueseeing!
I attempt to open the door. If it's locked, I'll lockpick it.

Based on everything I know about this dungeon, messing with that mist seems like a really bad idea, so I'm not gonna go near it for now.

Corvus shall relocate himself to just before the mist corridor, and not follow the rest of the party into it. Wait to see what happens to the poor sods who go in first. :P

Oh, and cast stoneskin on self. Extra armor never hurt anyone.

Promptly jump almost out of my skin at the suddenly appearing mage. Then check out that secret door I missed.

Oh, every other adventurer has managed to immediately find the rest of the party while magically avoiding every trap in between. I'm just cutting out the middleman. :v

Check the hallway the others are checking too, for extra caution

[14 + 5] You find no traps.

Malaken shall cast Floating Light in an attempt to banish the fog!

[15] Besides making the fog brighter, casting Floating Light does nothing to it.

Inhale the FUCK out of that mist. Might be hallucinogenic.

You eagerly run into the mist and inhale as much of it as you can.

[AUTOFAIL] Oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god. Bad trip man, bad trip.

Having long lost all control over your bowels, you run out of the white mist screaming at the top of your lungs.

I would like to be un-genderbent if that's possible.

[7] Your magic powers are no match for the arch's gender-bending powers. Curses.

Awesome! Thanks, Gem of Trueseeing!
I attempt to open the door. If it's locked, I'll lockpick it.

[19 + 5] The door is locked, but your lockpicking skills make short work of it. Opening the reveals a short, thirty-foot corridor that turns sharply to the south.

Oh, and cast stoneskin on self. Extra armor never hurt anyone.

[16] You cast stoneskin on yourself. Congratulations, your skin is now made out of stone. However armour is just flavour in this game, so... enjoy your flavour.

Promptly jump almost out of my skin at the suddenly appearing mage. Then check out that secret door I missed.

Having received a mini-heart attack from Crovus, you then investigate the secret door.

[3 + 5] Yep. That's a door.

...

You would probably pay more attention to the door if Javier didn't just walk through it.

Hmmmm...
Secret door or mystery mist hallway?
Sometimes I wish I wasn't so logical. If I wasn't, I wouldn't know that important and valuable things are usually at least as well guarded as this hallway full of LSD mist.
I take a moment to suggest that some Mage cast dispel magic on that mist filled hallway, then I inhale deeply, hold my breath, and run into the misty hallway, searching for doors, traps, and treasure.

This makes me sad, I was expecting some minor chance of not dying horribly to some physical attacks. :(

Ah well. I poke my spear through the mist a few times from outside the mist room proper, to see if anything unusual happens.

Follow and double check after Javier for traps.
