I don't trust this room. Whatsoever.
Stay at the doorway, and use my keen, eagle like vision to scan for traps from a distance.

Also, how are we going to get across this big ass pit? It's ten feet across and all we've got is a ten foot pole and my grapnel and rope, unless someone has something I didn't notice?
I'll jump over it, duh. Given a running start, pretty much everyone on the planet can jump 10 feet.

Stare at the pit and attempt to discern it's secrets.

Facepalm, and then climb out of the hole.

"I did tell you to watch out for something behind the door..."

Use my pole to help him up after getting someone to help me as well, then check out what the room looks like.

Brecan shall attempt to assist MZ in getting out of the hole!

[11 + 4] Helped by her loving friends companions, Maximum easily climbs out of the pit. Might you, she could have done so by herself, but eh.

Still convinced that this place isn't the end. I continue searching for a secret door. Multiple times if necessary.
If I find one, I begin the mad dance of Push/pull/pivot/slide to try and open it.

[16 + 5] Having found the secret door, you attempt your mad dance of door-opening. Unfortunately nothing seems to open the door, though it did give a bit when you tried pulling on the top.

You hear a slight metallic sound as you fiddle with the door, but dismiss it as nothing.

Stay at the doorway, and use my keen, eagle like vision to scan for traps from a distance.

Sadly keen eagle-eye vision is not enough to detect traps. You'll have to use your keen badger-like hands to do that.

Nothing happens to the archway or yourself, thankfully.

Stare at the pit and attempt to discern it's secrets.
"I have plenty of time, pit. You may not have fingernails to pry off, but I can improvise interrogation techniques."

[20 + 5] The pit dislodges no secrets.

...

Oh, have a freebie. On the southern wall of the pit some past adventurer has chalked two crude arrows, both of them pointing to the right.

In this legendary place? I'm not dismissing anything as nothing. I look around for other traps, and just to be safe give the crossbow trap a quick once over to make sure it's not a trap within a trap, or a regenerating trap, or some crazy thing like that.  Disarm whatever I find

Once that's done, I continue fiddling with the top of the door, this time trying combinations like slide and pull, slide and push, slide and pivot, etc.

Once that's done, I continue fiddling with the top of the door, this time trying combinations like slide and pull, slide and push, slide and pivot, etc.

[7 + 5] You don't find anything suspicious, but you're not 100% sure at this point in time.

Not that it matters too much, for you've discovered the secret way of opening the door. Seems like you have to pull it towards you while sliding upwards, or something like that. Taking one last good look at the room, you walk through the secret door to the south.

The next room is completely different when compared to the other ones, by which I mean that it's 30 feet by 10 feet. Everything else is the same, but at least the room is a different size.

Rest. I don't want to take any chances by doing anything injured.

[17] You catch a quick catnap. Unfortunately sleeping doesn't heal you, so either find a mage with a heal spell, or go snag one of those health potions left in the laboratory. You know, the one with the horrible brain bits everywhere?

Kadbot pushes Karas out of the way and tries hitting the stones in the order of left-top-right.

Nothing happens to the archway.

Brecan shall hop down carefully into the pit, and investigate the wall the arrows are pointing at!

Follow Brecan, and tap the wall and corner the arrows point at with my dagger.

[17 + 5] [11 + 5] The two of you discover nothing.

Climb into then out of the pit on the other side and check the room for traps and secret doors.

[6 + 5] You find no traps or secret doors.

Damnation. Climb across and search carefully with my badger like hands.

[12 + 5] Your badger-like hands find nothing.

Top-Right-Left

Nothing happens to the archway.
