Go through the northern door with Kadzar and look carefully at every surface before entering.

Delving the Tomb of Horrors: Choo Choo

When I see the Door give, I grab it there and pull it in that direction. If that doesn't work, I slide it a bit to see if maybe it's some kind of sliding door.

Sooo... any mages in the room wanna take a look at that mystery paper? Maybe it tells us how to get through this door?

After fiddling with the door for a couple seconds, you discover that you must slide it down to open. Success! You hear a slight metallic sound as the door opens, but it appears to just be the GHM arriving to analyse the message. You step into the next room, and take a look around...

Cast detect magic on the paper "I think it will be faster for me to blow the door down" he replied to Grey mountian sage

[13] The blast of magical energy causes the scribbles on the page to twist frantically, until they resolve themselves into words.

Look low and high for gold, to hear a tale untold. The archway at the end, and on your way you’ll wend.
—A.

I open up the door on the northern wall. Let's go 'slporing.

Behind the northern wall is... a completely identical room! (10 feet by 10 feet, dusty and disused, etc, etc.) This room also happens to have a door on the northern wall.

Go through the northern door with Kadzar and look carefully at every surface before entering.

[7 + 5] You find nothing suspicious.

: AGNS will search the entire room LIKE A BAWS.

*sigh*

[20 + 5] Despite being A BAWS you find nothing.

Brecan shall restate his desire for the ring. If denied, he shall glare menacingly.

[20] Kazard, forced by the GM so that the party can finally move on swayed by your logical and well-thought-out arguments, takes off his +1 ring of protection.

Brecan gracefully accepts the ring, and ceremoniously carries it into the chapel. With great dignity and respect he places it into the slot, where it slides in with a small clank. For several seconds nothing happens, before the section of the wall slowly swings down, revealing a new hallway. This hallway extends for twenty feet, before turning right and descending down a flight of stairs. The hallway smells like it hasn't been used in ages, moreso than the rest of the dungeon so far.

I shall head northward once more. Northward, Northward, northward through the door.

I get the feeling our near futures are full of dusty ten-by-ten rooms.
I search the new room for traps and secret doors, then disarm the traps and... probably get confused as to how to open the next door.

"Follow me, people that were already following me!"

Go down the Ring stairs. Search for traps on the stairs as we go. At least three times.

I am determined to have this genderbender rogue survive this place.

Kazard had followed where the man was taking his ring and upon seeing the new stairs was suddenly glad to have let him have it.

"Oh... Nice work."

Before anyone goes down the stairs, check for traps multiple times, tap all the stairs with the end of my pole and after all of that, let someone else go first.

Once Zako finishes tapping about, walk down the stairs.

Yeah... Gary Gygax was a bad sumbitch. Hence why we're searching everything five+ times and moving as a group.

And also taking blind chances because I ain't scared of no archway.
