"Hmmm... Alright, We should probably check the rocks, although i don't suppose the 'Owner' just left some keys in them.

[13+5] A quick search the surrounding rocks turns up nothing. Well, besides more rocks that is.

Suddenly, a Generic Nameless Hooded Stranger steps onto the hill, drawn by the tales of incredible wealth in Acererak's tomb!

Don't worry Doomblade, new players are welcome at any time.

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

This is probably far more important than the others, at least for this module. All I'm saying. I'll return to lurking now.

Oh god not this... anything but this!

I spent some 6 hours optimizing and gearing up the most elite Rogue I could roll to tackle this dungeon. We got 2 hours into it, playing super-conservative and inching through the dungeon trap by trap. The first time I slipped up, the first time I decided "Oh, I guess I can skip this one Search Roll..." surprise, Combat! He died in one round of combat.... in fact, one action.

Good Luck, and godspeed.

"Let's do a complete circuit of the hill. There may be an enterance on the other side of the hill."

Amazingly enough, the entrance is not on the other side of the hill, else you would have started in front of the obvious entrance to the dungeon.

"We should really look under each rock- the entrance might be hidden."

Unless the dungeon is meant for badgers, the entrance isn't hiding underneath a rock. These black rocks are about the side of a loaf of bread, not man-sized.

detect magic
heal
dispel
lightning bollt
fire wall

Excellent. I'll add this to your character sheet.

Prismatic Sphere is too high level for you to bring into this campaign, even heavily modified as it may be.

If weapons and armor are free, I'll take a sword, a crossbow, and leather armor in addition to my pan, fork, etc. unless they're not or it's too late for that.

Also, I will search for herbs in the surrounding area.

I'll search for signs of previous passage, natural paths and passages, downtrodden earth or signs of digging. The enterance must be here somewhere!

I updated my character profile so that I am now a Battlechef (fighter). I replaced the sword and crossbow I requested earlier with a large kitchen knife (equivalent to a short sword) and a pan lid (to be used as a shield equivalent to a buckler), and I replaced my leather armor with a plate apron (like plate armor, but only covers as much as an apron). If that's too much, I can convert it to ring or leather or scale. I don't expect to benefit from it in game at all; I just took it because I it seemed like a silly concept.

And now I'm done with character fiddling.
