[2-1] vs [6] Fortunately for you that just makes it hit the ceiling and then bounce ungracefully around the hall. Almost makes your desperate and very successful wrigglings further down the tunnel seem wasteful.
You now notice this part has some muck and fungal growth along the floor. It's dark and hard to make out much, though.

[6] You get some nice, healthy exercise frantically slashing the air with your metal shard.
+20 Shardsmanship Assign 10 XP to Bone Weapons Crafting and 10 XP to Bone Armor Crafting.

Alas, weapons and armor aren't close enough to gain points in, at least not in this case. The fact that your crafting was essentially whittling may have hurt that effort.
You do gain Weapon Crafting 1 just fine, however.
[5] You fashion some
damned fine cloth gloves. Which is to say, you manage to turn threadbare scraps into actual, aren't-disintegrated-by-sudden-gusts gloves, albeit understandable threadbare and patchy ones.
Finally, you ponder just how your bone shard could be worse than your fists. You conclude that while the raw damage is worse, shanking someone with a shard of bone might have advantages over just punching them to death. More successful rolls might impose worse conditions, like bleeding to death, for instance.
