Timezones, for one thing. It's not a good stream-watching time for everyone.

Not sure how widely publicized this was, for another. A depressing number of people probably just weren't aware of it.

Finally, the stream itself wasn't especially interesting. A lot of people were probably interested, just not in watching the control room.


Also ninja'd by several of these and a few other reasons.

Dunno if it's unique viewers or not, but x was a bit over 200k, y is currently @4.1 million.

Curiosity Rover twitter has only put out grainy wheel pic. Alway has some kind of deep wizardry.

They put some pics on the g+ stream; I screencapped it. :P

There were others, but this was the most visually interesting they showed.

Hell yeah! Peak views were at 232k, and I was one of them! It wasn't very well publicized, which makes that quite a feat. (I found out that it was even happening via this thread.)
