I'd say an armoured regiment (We'd have Leman Russ! And later, maybe even BANEBLADES!!!) it is something a bit different than the usual game. We won't have to wait until the cavalry arrives. WE are the cavalry. If not I'd say Hunter-Killer.

Fun fact about being a drop trooper, there's usually a 20%-30% chance of your gravchute not working properly and you dying or taking serious damage during the jump. Although of course I'd make sure to modify the gravchutes slightly to the point where it's not instant death.

A Leman Russ will fuck things up, Baneblades fuck things up even more so although don't expect to be able to get into one of those during the campaign.

Really, the rules are simple. You have statistics, then you roll 1d100 and try to roll under them plus and minus any modifiers there are. Just pick a regiment you think would be fun to play as.

I vote Light Infantry or Reconnaissance. I would vote Drop Troops, but only because I think Operate (Aerotica) goes well with our Syphilitic tainttrait.

So I'm gonna assume we're choosing Drop Troops then, with three technical votes going towards it (Since people aren't choosing one specific option.) So yeah, you guys are basically going to be dropping in from semi-atmospheric levels with a big pack on your back that slows down your fall slightly.

So next is the training doctrines (I know I said you were picking this before, but I fucked up and got confused between Regiment Type and Training Doctrine.) You have 7 points left.

Two people said just drop troops, then one person said drop troops or recon making it three votes (Also I just got that joke, hah.) Just sorta trying to speed this along a bit so we don't spend forever on regiment creation.

I really want sharpshooters, but they so expensive, and i guess Hardened fighters would go better as Droppers when we drop into the fray :/
