She's one of my closest friends, and she just got in a car wreck. i'll go ahead and copy-paste the facebook post about it.

Just heard from her amazing best friend that (friend) was driving home from her summer workouts and she went off the road a little and overcorrected and wrecked. She got thrown out the window and she has a few (I don't know how many) brain injuries and she has a fracture in her neck and sternum. But she is responsive! And they are moving her to the ICU Keep praying.

so yeah. Anything you guys could say would be great right now, i'm just... really sad.

I hope she gets well, but looking at the injuries she paying a huge price for what sounds like not wearing a seatbelt.

I'm really sorry for her. I hope she gets well, and doesn't become comatose, an amnesiac or a vegetable.

I seriously doubt that that kind of injury will make her stronger, but I wish her luck nonetheless. Sorry to hear that, ggamer.

Yea please don't end that as i had a friend that made it out of a wreck after 6 months and hes really not in any better shape since 3 years now.

All i can say is good luck and don't leave her man, don't ever leave her side, she will need a friend, she will need someone to help her understand what is going on, she will need someone to help her as she faces the challenge of coming back to normal, she will need someone to comfort her as she will be confused distraught and afraid

a lot of her friends went to the hospital today to see how she was doing. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it. I might be able to go there today, just to see how she's doing.

I'm not religious, so I won't pray. However, I do hope that she gets better and that there isn't any permanent damage.

My cousin got into an accident about a year or so ago, and he was the only one out of four in the car seriously injured (extensive brain damage)... Anyway, I hope your friend get's better soon, ggamer.

Okay, so I didn't head to the hospital to see how she's doing. However, I have been staying in contact with people, so I know the good news and the bad news.

Good- She's awake, and the swelling in her brain has gone down considerably. She's been able to blink and move her arms, the rest she is probably too sedated to do.

Bad- She has to have a splint put into her knee, as there is a tear in that muscle. Bad, because she's already had an injury there.

In other news, we're holding a prayer vigil for her near my school tomorrow.

I really hope she gets better.

It's not a thing that you have a technique for. just talk to god, talking into the air, or really just voicing, or even thinking about your problems usually is sufficient. It... I guess I can't explain it, it makes me feel better to get some issues off my chest when I pray, I don't know how it works for anyone else.
