Strange Migrants...

They are ALL Millitary dwarves, and i got 35 millitary dwarves.
What should i do with them, and how do i stop this?

Create a army. Derp.


Your civ probably was in alot of wars, thus have no "civilians" aside from retired soldiers.

Then either you conquered all your foes, they conquered you, or you made peace.


It doesnt track every war unless you go into legends and check your civ.

Thanks for the info, they arent pure millitary dwarves, so you are right.

This is a quirk of how the game selects migrants.
It sends you either professionals you dont' have and the game thinks that you need, or, if you have many dwarfs of some kind,
thinks that you are in some kind of project and sends more of those.

There was a thread some time ago about a guy who embarked with seven miners and only received migrant miners.

this,
basically, wars come and go during world gen, the more wars the more soldiers will migrate to your fort. One fort of mine had every dwarf have some military skill at 1, as if every dwarf above age X had to report for duty for a few years, but just a few hung around and got really good (11 axe, 11 armor, 11 dodge, 11 shield, 11 fighter, loved him like my child if I had any)
