Free power armor (fall mod, jetpack, glider, underwater breathing, jetpack control, the best batteries on each piece, and full diamond armor), ender chest, sweet alumite tools with good mods, a TC silk touch iron pick, and several stacks of most of the Nether ores to whoever wants them.

All you have to do is find them before they despawn. I'm apparently the first person to have his power armor cook himself to death. The items in question are in a long channel I built somewhere in the Nether. Good luck.

Shortly after I found out that I have death points disabled, I told everyone that if I'm not back in a few days, my compound can be parted out to whoever wants my stuff. I then ragequit. That was a bit rash. With my new solar quarry, I should be able to quickly recoup my losses. If my stuff is still there when I log in tonight, I'll begin rebuilding.
You're always welcome to use some of our mats to recoup losses as well. Sorry you lost the armor and such but we can help if you need some stuff.

I'm pretty sure I've got all (or most) of the mats. Thanks for the offer.

In the long run, this was probably a good thing. I can rework all of my equipment without feeling like I wasted materials on modifiers and finally upgrade to manyllyn.

Actually after this update both rail tie recipes started to work correctly and creosote oil now correctly burns in semifluid generator.

I am curious about checking out this server, but am intimidated by eleventy billion mods that I have no knowledge about outside of IC2.

You'll get the hang of it. Just burrow immediately, night is deadly due to Mo' Creatures.

Pretend none of them exist, pick a single mod and learn it. Or just pretend you're playing vanilla at first with some extra mobs running around. Feel free to ask questions as well. I'm always willing to help people out with mods if I'm online.

Just because the mods are there doesn't mean you have to use them.

Windows defender is spitting out a complaint about "\.minecraft\libraries\org\lwjgl\lwjgl\lwjgl_util\2.9.0\lwjgl_util-2.9.0.jar->org/lwjgl/util/glu/Cylinder.class" something about a java exploit.

I don't have anything like that. Probably a false positive. Anyone else seeing this?

I just ran a scan and detected nothing.

I used MSSE which, assuming frostshotgg is using Win8, is basically the same thing.

So, downloaded the massive mod pack.  Minecraft would freeze up trying to load (even if I left it for a while), but it seems like it would eventually work if I included those optional parameters.

Log in, look around a bit, oh crap it's just about night.

Wander over to this village on the lake.  So.  Many.  New.  Blocks.

Look across the water to the shore, see some manner of bipedal black monstrosity with red claws.  Decide to log off until morning, but then got distracted by something else and went to bed.

So is there a main settlement area from that starting village?  Or is everyone just scattered about?
