Its back. I've been watching when it goes down and I think I know whats wrong. I may end up updating soon. I try to only do it once a week at most but this is getting annoying.

Well, according to the mod thread Thaumcraft is in testing for 1.6. Will we be adding it in when it releases? Will the server be reset?

Thaumcraft will be added but no server reset. TC has worldgen options to cover that eventuality.

Crashed the server in a different way this time, I believe it was placing a dartcraft infusion altar.

Server went down hard a little bit ago.

On the plus side, I managed to get back home and unload my loots before it happened. Several force gems, around ten uranium ore blocks for whoever may desire to run a nuclear reactor, and a few metric craptons of ore, along with the random junk that you find in mineshafts. Also found my first bit of abyssal stone.

I've opened a ticket with the hosting company to modify the command line parameters which I believe will fix these random crashes. Server is going to be down this morning until they complete but should come back up when they're done. I wish they'd expose the config file to me and let me do this myself.

Decided to leave the server up until they get to this. This means server may go down at some point when they work on it.

Also I found that someone is porting MFR to 1.6.2. Excite

I think forsaken might have forgotten to update the download link in the first post, try looking for the latest update-typie post by him and grab the link for the pack from there. Cheers

As I said in my last post, it was down while they altered a few configuration files for the backend. Its up now.

That thing about the server being down was mostly directed towards inverted, thanks for the confirmation about the reason why it was though

Hmm. Putting steam into an ender tank appears to be a bad idea. My client keeps crashing when I log in, always with an error message about some rendering problem. I was looking on the endertank in question when this happened. Does someone know what to do in such a case?

Listen to the server admin when he says to not use steam ender tanks? Or would that be too difficult?
