Dunno. I think I looked up uses for some item or another in NEI. Nether quartz I think. Game crashed, now when I log in it lasts for about 3 seconds before it crashes again.

Misc Peripherals has been disabled until further testing can determine the cause.

Okay, I log back into my launcher to find all my profile data missing. When I load, a vanilla version of minecraft loads. I figure it's an error and delete my .minecraft, then run the launcher again to generate a new copy for modding.

My minecraft loads again into a vanilla copy of 1.6.2. I check the .minecraft folder in preparation to load a new copy. The launcher has not generated a new .minecraft. I delete all copies of minecraft files and try again. There are no data files on my computer, but Minecraft loads fine, plays and generates saves fine, and runs without any game actually there. Attempting to prompt the resource packs folder to open does nothing.

Okay, I think I figured out what happened, although I still have no idea why. Somehow, without me changing anything, the launcher suddenly started opening in Wine instead of Linux Java, and started using a secret copy of minecraft within the emulated C: drive.

I would love to play, but unfortunately the modpack does not work for me.

Followed all the instructions, but in the bottom left of the start menu it tells me there are only 3 mods loaded. This isn't just graphical, I get a long list of missing mods when i try to join the server :/

EDIT: it works now, no idea what was going on there.

EDIT2: Failed to connect: Bad Login Is it whitelisted?

EDIT3: all okay, had to restart minecraft

There's no whitelist. Are you sure you did not make error in your login, like when I forget about using my email instead of my username?
