   That was fun, 3 of us just cleared a hollow hill in the twilight and managed to grab 33 diamonds so we each netted 11 as well as a fun little adventure. It was quite hard for me at the beginning cause of a distinct lack of armor but then some iron finished smelting and I stopped die(as much).

In all my minecraft playing, i never enjoyed combat but this sure was fun. built bunkers to get rid of monster spawners and such =)

Forsaken, Is it possible to setup the server to automatically restart once a day or however often it might need to, with a system message telling that a restart is coming?

MoCreatures seem to have updated to 1.4.6.
Kinda miss those mobs.

Mojang is pulling a Valve on the API. I can't remember when the first mention of the API was. Either 1.4 beta or 1.7 beta.

I don't really feel about it this way, it's just that Notch was unable to focus on one thing and ended up fucking up everything, and somehow mojang decided it was a good idea to continue this developement process.

the lag may be due to world loading lag, it takes a while for the client to recieve everything it needs to and to start playing without lag.  Easy way to see if this is happening is pressing F3 and looking at the multiplayer chunk cache.  It should be at 441 for the lag to stop,
