You could find one in an age, there's a specific generation symbol for villages.  I've not seen one anywhere, but then again I was never searching.

I know, but as far as I can tell, none of these dimensions have villages in them. And we're not supposed to just make ages willy-nilly.

I know alway managed to find one, probably, since he made a Silk Touch pickaxe with dustmod (I think?).

Maybe if I find one, I can make a custom village by turning a villager into an egg :D After all, all you need is a crapton of doors somewhere :D

I just picked up Minecraft again recently and finally gave tekkit a decent go. I've still only scratched the surface of what those mods offer but it seems like it would be much more fun on a good multiplayer server, and this seems as good as any.

Anything I should know before I dive in? I'll probably stumble through all these various mods, but I think I know enough for starting out.

Based on that message, it is trying to pull out of the enderchest from one beyond the maximum slot. The enderchest has 27 slots; which means indices 0-26 are valid item slots for the enderchest. That message says it is trying to pull from the slot with index 27. Dunno how it is searching the chest for items to remove, but I suspect it either expects the chest to be bigger or just fails to exit the loop if it doesn't find anything.

Also, yeah, I found a village in the overworld. It was n-nw of town I think. Something like 2500 and 1900 in some order and with whichever negative signs put it to the n-nw. n-nw being judged by the minimap. I've got a waypoint set up for it.

Edit: dug through the mod folder; here's the location data:
TESTIFICATE NEST:-1517:67:-2694:true:773A9D
So -1500x, -2700z on the surface.
