Random dwarf fortress based animation

(I hope this is the right forum for this)

I made a short animation based on dwarf fortress years ago. Just now got it up on youtube with sound and stuff.

Here's a link to it.

This was done for an animation class in school. It's kinda crude, but I thought I'd share it anyways!

I kept expecting them to pull the lever to flood the entire surface with magma after they shut the gates but it never happened. I suppose it's really hard to make a 3D fluid simulation look realistic though.

Found the animation pretty good, specially the last scene, hehehe. Remind me of the innate fear of catsplosions in the dwarvekind.

Pretty good, i love the ending even though  it doesn't quite make sense how he got up there :P.
I checked out some of your other videos, heh, yeah that's totally how the human race would go out, though we're technically already broadcasting our animated wang out to space every day with tv broadcasts :P.
