As the title says , I have twin sets of mine carts and only one route works .
No1 takes from stone stockpile 1 and transfers it to stone stock pile 2 .
No2 takes from stone stockpile 2 and trys to transfer it to stone stockpile 3 .

Number 1 works as the haulers toss stone into it , but Number 2 doest even if theres stone in 2 , any ideas?

Now my DF skill is next to nothing but wouldn't it be either some kind of forbid problem or why don't you just transfer stone from Pile 2 to another Pile 3 then transfer that over the 2nd route to the 4th pile at the end.

If i am reading what you are typing correctly, there is no reason to believe your idea would work any better than in the original post.

That being said I have not done a single thing with minecarts, so I am,no help past critical observation.

sad to say pile 2 is a looooong way from 3 , thats why Im using carts , instead of waiting a season for people to haul the things up the 20 flights of stairs.
