I'd figured that much. I'm not about to burst in the CIA-smuggled trenchcoated gun nut with a jillion Deagles and C4 shoved somewhere uncomfortable. And like.. magics/powers and stuff?

I'm basically asking how far willing suspension of disbelief goes. Like, what genre? Is this like, Dresden Files ish? Or less fantastic?

Bear with me; I don't like to make huge splashes until I've shown my competency, and I'm not about to link to my old dead 6k+ page RP. xD

Well, our general rule is that if it isn't godmodding it goes. Our story is in 2012 modern Moscow, so take from that what you will.

Oh my, look at the time. >____>

"rest" is code for "I am going AFK now", it seems.

...no warning the good old only tenant that lives in hell HUH!?
MAGMA CRAB!.
That said, let's see how this one will fare. (though don't worry folks, I'll keep it utterly toned down) but wait, can I have my good old hell back with my magma crabs and my adamantine?
*Puppy eyes*
well, no matter, I'll enjoy the crescendo of insanity never the less.

Exactly. All of that's open to interpretation.

I was thinking of joining in on this, but what's the rule on introducing characters? Is it locked and I'm too late?
Even if I am, what kind of break in pace should I wait to so I'm not sticking in my self-indulgent introduction in the middle of some dialogue stuff. All of these questions and more worrying about how much I could possibly mess this up.
In my experience, incompetence is far worse than maliciousness.

It's not locked, you're not too late, and as far as I know the main general rules are no godmodding and no introducing major events without some buildup. Oh, and no damaging the apartment.

Basically, very broad strokes.

Bay 12 Apartments was an apartment building that had something very nasty under it, and was owned by Furtuka. A team of officials declared it to be "Unfit for people", emptied it out and then destroyed it via controlled demolition... That's the official story, anyway. There are rumors that before the officials came, MIB went into the building, didn't come out the first time, then a team of Red Wolf PMCs.

Also, you can decide whether to wait or to post now. You can join at any time.

And she hated people named Noah for some reason. On that note, does Fniff still have The Dark Son of a Thousand Incestuous Dark Ones Who Shall Reign Darkness Upon Thee, Ala Cathgroth, ALA CATHGROTH! A.K.A. Howard, his pet Pokethulu leech thing? :P

Yep.

The world is still weird, folks, it's just not widely known it's weird. Go right ahead and have crazy powers, just keep it under wraps.
