I don't own a waterskin, I just lick the fluids that collect on my body.

Ah, but a waterskin full of vampire blood is quite the treasure >:]

I carry a waterskin just for RPing. Imagine your adventurer licking his bodyparts to quench his thrist. Your badass legendary thrower is not so awesome now. Unless you can manage to lick your nose or something.

As long as your adventurer is a Kitten person or werewolf or something the licking is fine, otherwise.... *shudders*

Or squeezing the blood out of his clothes just to stay alive. Bear Grylls Dwarf.

Or modding the game so you can eat live bugs and force people to vomit so you can drink it just to stay alive. Bear Grylls Dwarf.

Double fix.

Hey, anyone remember what this thread was about?

When the Mongols moved separate from their own herds, they rotated horses to keep them fresh, opened veins to drink horse blood, and culled the weakest for food.

Mongolian horses were probably the most important factor of the Mongolian Empire. Without the extremely skilled, not to mention famous, cavalry, the Mongols would not have been able to raid and capture the huge area they did and the Mongols would not be known, even today, as skilled horsemen. It also served as an animal that Mongols could drink blood from, by cutting into a vein in the neck and drinking it, especially on harsh, long rides from place to place.

They could have stuck mostly with mares and drank the fermented milk, but i think the mongols preferred male horses for war.
Also blood is yummy
