Please Help - How do I turn of "record"
« on: May 17, 2012, 12:27:52 am »

Somehow I clicked a mouse button somewhere and now I have a blinking rec on the top of the screen.

I can't figure out how to turn it off.  The wiwi is silent, the ingame help has no mention of it.  The ; menu for movies doesn't seem to have a stop.  I am stuck

It's ctrl+r.

The use is for recording macros. You hit ctrl+r to start recording, then again to stop. Then you hit ctrl+p to play all of the commands that you input again. There is a bunch more information for saving them and optimizing them available here.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead - A fun zombie survival rougelike that I'm dev-ing for.

What is this, a therapy session? We don't need to console someone because they're upset about a fucking video game. Grow a beard, son, and take off those elf ears!

Note that it's not capital letters, just normal letters.
So [CTRL]->[r], not [CTRL]->[R].
