Taking armor, weapons, valuables, etc. has been a staple of unarmed fighting for quite a long time.

High wrestling skill, making sure said target of theft isn't bigger than you, grabbing the object of interest and moving away one tile from the guy.

Oh, and you must use your free hand.

I did it as a Dwarf wrestler. UNARMED COMBAT CRIME SPREE

[Was finally done in by a vampire warrior I overlooked. Suppose there was always going to be one in a village that big :p]
