I'm trying to weave all of the past and current events together. It's a fairly tough job.

Also; Thanks to a small error I made I am down to 'only' nine Gods. I am stuck right now anyways, so if I get sent a great application (for those I've already messaged; You're already in. Don't you dare send me one again) within the next two days (people who sent me applications before, but did not receive an invitation should send them again) I can incorporate a tenth God.

Examples of your writing would be nice too. It will surely increase your odds if there are other applicants but you submit an example.

Otherwise, we'll play with nine. Nine is a nice number anyways. I will continue writing, so don't think that it is holding up my progress. I will accept applications until Wednesday, 6th.
If you send me an application and I accept it, I will not ask for your permission to make minor changes (but I will let you know) or ask you for confirmation again. I will merely let you know that you have been accepted. I want to get this done, so I do not have time to wait for replies in correspondence.

Sincerely,

Caesar

Edit; I am an idiot to make such oversights. Sorry, Shootandrun.
For some reason I managed to forget about you.

To show you some degree of progress, as well as a small preview of what the turn-post will be about;

I had one problem with the fact that I had two Gods of Death to introduce. While at first I thought it would be a good idea to ask for another form (which I did, in fact, receive) I came up with something even better. Thus, I am linking the following two Gods together:

Zantaware

Played by: Adwarf
Titles: The Ferryman
Description of Character: Zantaware is the guide to the afterlife. He is a kind yet pessimistic God who believes that it is the fate of all things but himself to one day die. He can be more caring than other Gods, however, and when angered he doesn't easily let go of a grudge even if it is with another god.
Spheres: Souls, Afterlife
Anti-sphere (Completely powerless in this sphere): Death
Manifests as: Zantaware appears to beings as a young silver haired man wrapped in a black cloak, those living that see him see a simple ferryman, but the souls of the dead see a black mist radiating from him. He gives off a calming aura allowing him to easily transport the souls of the dead to the afterlife as he sees fit.

To the other Gods Zantaware appears as a tall human with shoulder length silver hair, wearing a set of jet black leather clothes, and a wielding a scythe with a blade the color of blood nearly the length of his human form.  His eyes are a light crimson red, and shackles are clasped around his wrist disappearing into thin air, but appearing as if chained to some invisible object.
Characteristic Animal: Dire Wolf
Secondary source of Power: The arrival of the dead in the Well of Souls.
Divine responsibility: Carrying the collected souls of the dead to the afterlife.

The other God, with whom I have matched him up, is;

Iloende

Played by: Koronii
Titles: None
Description of Character: Aloof and distant, but pretending to be kind. Iloende believes that the only reason to create life is to watch it die, and thus finds other immortals existence an affront. It has a fondness for long-reaching plots and games of chance.
Spheres: Souls, Death
Anti-sphere (Completely powerless in this sphere): Afterlife
Manifests as: Iloende when it appears in person invariably appears as a man, wrapped in a funeral shroud wearing a plain bone mask. As the folds of the cloth drift it reveals the souls that Iloende has devoured, silently screaming and straining to escape. It however can speak through Barn Owls, which are its holy animals.
Characteristic Animal: Barn Owl
Secondary source of Power: Arrival of the dead to the afterlife.
Divine responsibility: Carrying the souls of the dead to the Well of Souls.

Whether they hate each other or not, they can not quite depend on worshipers to gain their acts. They depend completely on each other's existence, since both of them are completely incapable of fulfilling the task of the other. They are centered around the mentioned 'Well of Souls'.

Now to write that into a more fitting format.

Ah nice idea, God Number One carries them to the Well of Souls, God Number Two Delivers them to the afterlife...very nice idea.

Simple concepts are often behind the greatest events.
And those events will be written by you all!

I will try to continue writing later this evening. ;)

I can't work on it today. I want to finish it by Sunday, latest. After that, I will pick up on speed for the turn posts.

If possible, I would appreciate it if someone could create a wiki of sorts. To sort out the mess, I have written summaries and collected descriptions of all the things that are relevant to the game right now. I just need a place to deposit all that information.

Here you go. It will be a bit barebones for a short while, but it should do the trick.

EDIT: I encourage players to make character sheets on the wiki and link them on the main page. I made a template and two examples. If you don't feel inspired, you can take the information straight from your original sheet.

I have copied and slightly edited all the sheets of the Gods that are now in the game. I added some details. So it will not be necessary to do that. Of course, it would be nice if you would further add details or correct things. I am but one person, and I make oversights. And I might suck at formatting in the wiki.

But right now, leave it empty. I will port all that I've collected there after the turn starts. I might need more than just today and Sunday, since I still got a lot to do, but I am definitely working on it. I know mostly what it has to look like, and I think I have included all previous events, existing objects and current acts as well as the replaced Gods and the new ones, and, of course, my own additions and new events.

I know for sure that you will like several of the things I came up with, but I have to write them down completely first. I also want to check and check and check everything, so I am reading through all previous posts several times to make sure I did not miss anything. I want to include as much details as possible.

Why? Because if I get everything nice and coherent and organized, it will not just help right now, but also with future posts. So it's a huge task now, but in the future I'll do it with every new act, saving both you all and myself a lot of time in the end.

I even made a basic map (which you will not get to see since I only use it for my own reference). Atilliano is working on a much better-looking version which we will use for and keep up to date with the game.

I hope that you're not getting too impatient. If anybody got qualms about my speed and progress, voice them. They might serve as a motivation. I didn't really get any sleep last night, but who cares?! I surely don't. ^^

Yours sincerely,

Caesar

Hurray :D Well keep at it Caesar, I'm sure this turn will be great even with (maybe partially because) of the arrival of new gods and ousting of old ones

Very well. At my current location, it is now 06:01. I am going to get some rest. I have practically written everything now. I have summarized the past events, existing things and pretty much everything the wiki might ever have to contain. I have written the end- and start-of-post summaries, like with every turn post.

Now all I need is to write the flavor text, which is my favorite part of writing turn posts in the first place. So this time I saved the best for the last. Finishing this will not be a battle of willpower or intense concentration. It is a matter of sitting down, getting comfortable, and writing down whatever my imagination throws at me.

I will do this either 'today', after getting some rest, or tomorrow, on Monday.

Good night!

Alright. I am setting myself going to pull another all-nighter, and I am starting on the flavor text right now. If I somehow do not manage to finish it this night, then I think that I will finish it on Monday, during daytime. But I think I'll do it during vampire times.

When, exactly, I will finish, still depends on how detailed I write. If you want me to be done as quickly as possible, then I can rush the flavor text and have it done in a matter of hours. If you'd prefer to read my usual long post, then you might have to wait until Tuesday instead of Monday latest. But even then I might finish it this night. Regardless of what you all prefer, I'm starting on it now.

Thats great to hear. To be honest, its up to you as to what you feel is a better thing to do - rush it for sake of the game or to do a proper long post that we can have fun with.

I believe that I am almost done. After the IC post, I would like to add my game summary, as well as the map, to the wiki. I'll do it quickly and dump it on one page and leave the organizing to you all, so that you can start playing right away.

I strongly recommend everyone to read the information, AND take note of the fact that I changed every god's template. So the templates that have already been posted on the Wiki should be changed a bit. Copy-pasting would do perfectly.

You could treat the underlined words in the summary as links to the other pages, I guess. I am not sure yet, but I bet that you all will be.
