Thar we go.  Been busy putting on a play, finally had time to finish this off.

Basically, following Shoot's example and creating an alternative to a mundane tech; instead of boiling silkworms, people can now harvest incredibly deadly spiders for their webs mesh!  Hint: They only bite if they're afraid, which is also when they start screaming!

If they start annoyng me, I will be forced to hunt them down. Eagle eye never misses anything.

Man, I feel odd now for not doing a burnin-and-birthin' segment. I missed such an opportunity. Maybe I'll flashback.

I'm sure you'll get other opportunities to do interesting stuff.

Hey, I've already done interesting stuff. How dare you? Also that was not foreboding at all.

Yes, other opportunities to do interesting stuff..

Again!

Foreboding how?! I do not have a reputation for twisting acts and slapping them figuratively back into people's faces, now do I?! Oh. Wait. I do. Hehehe.

My apologies for the wait everyone, stuff happened.

Please give me your harshest criticism on my writing.

Also, does anyone know of a good source for fantasy names?

I recommend two ways:

1. The "type wildly then refine it" way, but you get names like "Iet" and "Sfijg".
2. The "just pick a random few syllables and slap em together" method, where you get names like "Saberina" and "Talin".

Dear Urist: I, the overseer, appreciate your point of view about the danger that an unarmed goblin can represent at the other side of a fortification when you try to kill it with a ballista, but, as you know, you're not paid to think. And a mindless worker is a happy worker, so shut up and do your job.

You are a Hero, an fantasy adventure with dragons, mages, ninjas and Norse mythology

I'm a big fan of syllables that sound like they should be part of a given language, strung together in a way that doesn't make a word, but conceivably could.  Like how budrell and agney sound like they could be English words, but they aren't.

It's very good, I like the whole key thing! I'm sorry I can't give you harsh criticism, though, there's not really anything I feel I could nitpick on.

I just mash syllables together and hope it works out. Usually I sound them out in my head for a while before settling on anything, and end up having the strangest pronunciation, like Unsobar. It's UNN SOHH BAHR, low and guttural, stressing each syllable. So basically, whatever sounds cool to you.

For the names I use I try to imagine the 'voice' the being would have and then say something in that voice. That is where I get most of my names from. If I can't figure anything out, I just try random ideas.

If that doesn't work, I use Latin.

Latin is a favoured choice.  I stole Valeia's name from a list of gods on a gaming server I used to play, all with really cool Latin-based names reflecting their spheres.  Valeia, Ultio, Turpis, Viator.  Inuria, Salus, Erud, Fidelis, Messis... and about 3 others I can't remember the names of.  They were in two groups of six, each flanking towards Order or Chaos, it was hella-fun.

Latin is just too awesome. Plus people who figure out that it's actually (derived from) a Latin word will feel super smart. Which is a nice added bonus.

I usually go with the random syllables if it's a minor character, but I'm rarely satisfied with the results. Probably just me being too picky though.

For major characters I usually have some theme or another that all their names are derived from within groups.

Hope you like it.
Best source for random generators I've ever seen, thanks.  I'll probably never use it outside of GM/DMing stuff though. I always feel kind of cheap using them.

Funny, i also like to pick latin names. Nihilus is obviously latin, as has been the names of the swords of my god in the first godhood.
