At the moment, we plan to have robot(parts) being a member of various brands (Apple, Samsung and Sony's futuristic tongue-in-cheek equivalent).

I wouldn't classify myself as "personally excited", but I can certainly put myself in the range of "have faith in the dev team that they can pull it off".  Sounds less like a mad scheme, and more like a perfectly valid product.

The kickstarter bit is, as always, questionable.  But that's none of my business.  I'll certainly mention it to friends who are likely to be into the idea, though!  (Which might not be many--we've kinda sworn off MMOs.)

I think someone's making a lame joke. No one would program a spambot to find a thread about the game and make an OP-like post in it.

At least, I hope not. That's kind of ridiculous. Although much more polite than making new threads or derailing others.

They're not advertising Panzer Pets, they are advertising their gaming website.  It's very sneaky.

We have no clue, we're not connected at all with that website. He seems to be spamming it on different forums as well. My guess is that he spams those links, so that when people google for Panzer pets, their site comes up high in the search results, which is what is currently happening.

The website even has a play now button, while the game isn't available. And it's not linking to our kickstarter page anywhere so we don't benefit from this spam in any way.

We just released our second update, this time featuring the random dungeon generation!

While it's not as impressive as Dwarf Fortress, it is a pretty cool thing to have in an MMO, to ensure things remain fresh.
