"Well, as for what we expect to find, I'm not entirely sure. I'm of the opinion that something incredibly horrible is behind all this, and that a short while after we discover what it is, everything is going to go to shit, which is where I'm able to contribute with a variety of options, including fragmentation and HE, sir."

For the second, In our line of work, I think competence can be summed up simply - Knowing when to not hose down an area with ungodly or unearthly firepower. Any idiot can kill damn near anything with enough boom. Hell, the nice lady in the booth sells nuclear weapons for dirt-cheap. But if you blat the mission objective, or your comrades, or a civilian, or a structural support? That ain't competence. Following the boss's lead usually goes a long way towards achieving that, too.

Battle stims tend to be useful for any situation, but they're consumables and probably get you hooked on them. Your choice. Just don't take any of those Nyars vials during the mission.

Should i return this Pimp Cane? I really only got it because it seemed the most convenient at the time for that little issue I was having? Five tokens might be better spent elsewhere later, though.

If Milno says so,Since Milno says 'meh,' Ask Steve if I should take the Pimp Cane on Mission 23.
If the answer is no: return the Pimp Cane for refund, unless the refund is not the full 5 tokens. Else, store the Pimp Cane in my room.

Ask Steve if you can take it with you, it's a cane after all. Equipment will be supplied at the site, so you can just try a refund and do whatever. Your choice.

I go there and settle in, passing time until mission by looking through the emergency pack and familiarizing myself with its contents.
