Only problem is that I'm not.))

((Einsteinian Roulette: The Comic.))

Jobasio groaned once, softly, then louder as his eyelids flickered open.
He was sprawled on a bunk in the barracks, bedsheets tangled around himself and his gauss rifle clutched tight in one arm-- yeah, that arm was as numb as dead wood. This is why deadly weapons generally don't make good bed partners.

>Remember where I am, what's going on and what I was supposed to be doing about it.

((I think the title of "ER as a comic" still belongs to "Glimmer Rats"))

((Because you're familiar with his work. I highly doubt you'd find many Bay12ers working HR at WotC. The two pools are small enough that they're unlikely to overlap.))

((If his game systems become proliferated enough, he could probably get a job using his reputation. Or you know, just make them give him a job using his dark powers since proliferating perplexicon enough will break the strangely specific gypsy curse on him.))

Having nothing better to do, Thomas sat down on the couch and flipped on the television. He leaned back in the chair, flipped through his wristpad, and thought back through the day so far. Something was nagging him. Something he had forgotten. Something important. Oh. Right. The other squad. The one he was supposed to be with.

"Steve? Where's the rescue team right now? In running distance?"

((Welp. I dun goofed.))

@smurf
Look for workers so I can either repair things or create some interesting weapon combinations.

As you fall out of the pod, a man wanders into the room staring at a datapad. He consults it for a few moments while you cough up suspension fluid and generally feel like crap before looking at you.

Lerman Russ? Technician? Awesome, we seem to be short on those. Good choice, Steve! Right, get dressed, get your suit, take this welding tool, and head over to... this passageway.
While you're still lying on the ground, he flips over his datapad to show a simple map of the area with an indicator of the passage
Got it? Good. Ask Steve or one of the orange suited personnel if you get lost. You're replacing some of the Sword's armor plate. Should be simple, but I'll warn you that you're partner in crime is not exactly great with a blowtorch.
With that, he wanders off without glancing back or helping you up.

Direct Lerman to take over my job at the armor plating, then head over to one of the shuttles and check the provided heavy lift gear, specifically look for how it's attached to the shuttle. After checking on that, prep for liftoff.

((Then we encounter the problem of publishing under an anonymous internet name: It's hard to take credit anywhere that matters. Especially since the work will probably be subconsciously devalued due to being published anonymously on the Internet.
What I'm saying here is the world ain't fair.))

(( Yeah, I'm complaining in character, not out of character :P

I actually looked through who was talking in this thread and not already assigned to something when we started. No one had any handiwork, except me with the glorious 1 point. Everyone else was already assigned to something else. Which is fair enough, this is probably the least important job to be done quickly. ))
