look around for anything interesting, If I hear anything tell the others
Hmm...Well you're in the infirmary, so there's nothing that interesting around here. At least nothing that is "interesting" in the sense that it might be dangerous. Well...beyond the usual.
Hehehehehe.
Await alterations.
Wait, how am I giggling if I'm unconscious? Eh. Probably better not to wonder about that.
"What."
To back to the Sword to give information.
You take the elevator up the cage and then a walkway into the sword. You're not exactly sure where you should go to unload this data...so you just walk over to the armory master and tell her of your predicament.
"Ok. Here's what we're gonna do." she says, "You're gonna stay right here until steve gets back. Then we're gonna plug you into his system and let him get the data out of your suit. Alright?"
"Hrmm. I wonder how pissed of she'd be if Timmy got out. More importantly, how lethal would Timmy getting out be for me? Probably the uncertain death kind. Hrmm. Worst part is that there are more people like her, and most are gonna be trying to kill me. I wonder if I could get some special training to deal with amps? Hrmm."
Keep watch, and brace self for mindfuckery if I need to escape through voidspace. Warn teammates if anyone comes into the lobby, regardless of who they appear to be, while staying hidden.
((Hrmmm.))
The building shakes slightly and you see what appears to be a large chunk of debris hurl off one side of the building, flashing past the window and leaving a trail of dust behind it. Huh, thats a thing. You look back down the hall and see things moving in the distance, humanoid shapes rounding the slow bend of the concourse.
"And that is another."
"Possible bogeys on the Concourse. Everyone look alive."
"What."
Go see of there is a cargo hold or something.
What did I say about touching my ship? Though somehow I feel it did that just to spite you. Come on, let's get that information back to the Sword, then we can poke around the ship some more. I need to go get some new flight software anyway, wanted to reload it in case there were any lingering traps.
Take note of any displayed numbers on the ship, like a model or tail number, then leave a drone patrolling around the ship and head with Jack back to the Sword to get the data analyzed.
You don't find any numbers or designations displayed on the ship, not surprising when you think about it, so you leave a drone and head back to the Sword.
((I'd just like to congratulate Skylar for being completely awesome.))
Signal Gorat to stand in the other corner.
Approach and try to calm woman, warning that it isn't safe and she needs to come with us. Make sure her clothing is clothing.
"Ma'am, it isn't safe here, we need to take you to a safe place. Can you stay down and breathe for me? I'm going to put my hand on your shoulder now."
You have enough time to say your speech and reach for her before the warning comes over the radio. Possible Bogeys. You draw your hand back.
"Damn it. Great timing as usual."
You wake up in the infirmary, with Maurice looking down at you.
"On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you feel like lighting something on fire?" he asks, reading the question from a datapad.
T. looks away from the talking molotov and around the room, noticing bandages, paper, towels and alcohols.
Psh. Put a completely sane man in a room full of flammables and of course he'd be coming up with a massive number. This was obviously a trick.
However, his mother always told him that if he lied to doctors she'd burn his eyes out.
With a sigh, Teal raises 7 fingers.
Answer successor questions.
((I'm not sure if he's meant to be answering it pre- or post-mindhack.))
[will:1]
You raise both hands. Then a foot.
"Yep. I'm afraid your inhibitions may have been hacked, so to speak. The good news is that this is one of the most common things those guys do so we know how to treat it quite well. Bad news is that it means cutting your skull open and injecting things into your brain. There may be....side effects. I'm not telling you this because you have options, by the way, I'm just telling you this to kill time while they warm up the lasers and syringe limbs. Any questions?"
"Miss Feyri! Can you look down this hole?"
Attempt to get the friendly robot keeping an eye on me to stick one of her metal arms into the hole.
Attempt to get the friendly robot keeping an eye on me to stick one of her metal arms into the hole.
Fine.
Grate asks Ms. Feyri very nicely to stick her arm into the strange alien burrow. Ms.Feyri politely complies and, after searching around for a few minutes, comes back with an arm covered in what appear to be ferret sized furry beetle things. Huh.
Accompany Jack and Skylar back to the sword, unless there's nobody else to guard the ship our absence- in that case, stay and guard the ship with weapons readied and vision modes cycling.
((Piecewise has a habit of missing Tiruin, it seems. It's as if she's not there.
So, this means Feyri is now a robot ghost. Although it's Simus who can pass through walls. And also Faith is a robot zombie.
We should add a robot ninja and a robot pirate to the group, and then have them all combine into one Ghostly Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot Megazord.))
((We already have a robot ninja in Renen, so I could be the pirate if you guys want. Get a cutlass and all.))
It seems like everyone else is wandering away, so you climb up and sit atop the ship.
"This is my ship. There are many like it but this one is mine. It may or may not be serving as a giant metal replacement dick at this point. Thats for you to decide."
Go check out the support cradle. Is it still there, even? Then return to the ship and relative safety.
You're already at the ship you and ms May the barely here are hanging around on the gangway. Just in time too. You get the warning about incoming targets.
"What, is a field manipulator something I can easily make out of household materials? While I am flattered that you consider me intelligent enough to use knowledge dangerously, I don't see any way knowing what's inside a manipulator can possibly make it more dangerous - so far, it has been largely ignorance causing problems, no? Besides, I would not even try to disassemble one, butterfingers that I am, and I wish to know more about them chiefly because they freely and flagrantly violate what we know of the laws of physics and seem to contain the potential for mass destruction in an extremely small package that simply loves to break out at inopportune moments, so having an idea of how it all works could make the whole thing a bit safer. I don't see any reason why you can't tell me, really - you probably know exactly what's in them, considering that you're an amp-based, rather bored goddess at first glance. I mean, you counted that dude's atoms and you can reshape any matter you wish at will."
Speak!
"It really doesn't. In fact, having an idea how it works would probably just make things worse. You wouldn't understand it and it would probably just frighten you out of using them."
"standing here is getting pretty boring, let's go on an adventure!"
"We are in agreement. Adventure sounds beneficial to our mental sanity. what is left of it."
"Right, someone call me when the retaliation comes. Or when it's over, either works. I'm going for a walk."
Go to the room where that flare came from, being ready to deflect attacks at all times. When inside the room, look around.
"Possible bogeys incoming"
You grin.
"ABOUT FUCKING TIME!"
Sulk on my bed for a while.
"Grumble grumble meow meow grumble."
Stand in the other corner. Be on guard for treachery and mind control

Half a robot foot. Robot right arm.
You get the radio warning too.
"Well...thats annoying."
"Great. No map, and no mission control, all alone in an irradiated ruin, looking for people who have likely cleared out hours ago.
Eh. Beats doing nothing."
Maintain search&(potential)rescue operations. Carve recognizable symbols (an eye will do) into freestanding pieces of rubble and any nearby walls with the laser, to mark my progress through the area.
You catch the same radio warning as the others.
"Hmm perhaps I should actually go do a thing..."
