The fuel tank heats up a bit as the truck starts doing the 40 point turn required to turn back around and attack you.

You start to get up but the girl catches your ankle and sends you face first to the ground. Ow.

You don't really have to. It's origin becomes extremely obvious when the wall it seems to have come starts being cut through. It seems someone is using their laser to cut a nice circular hole in the wall. Which means the metal thunk was probably them pressing the gun right up against the wall. Which means they're right up against the wall with possibly more of their friends. Oh dear.
